Chapter 9 - Jiro are you okay?!

Jiro sorry POV:
I was standing at the kitchen bench helping Momo set up all of the food and drinks we were going to have for the sleepover.

I was setting up the drinks while momo set up the food. I had a few bottles of Fanta, Coke and Lemonade, with some water of course (thanks, Iida).

Momo had almost finished with the food. She had set out some different types of chips, there were all sorts of chocolates and lollies too.

As I was putting down the cups for everyone to use I felt strong arms wrap around my waist from behind.

I tensed from the sudden contact. I turned my neck to the person hugging me. It was surprising to see a blushing Bakugo with his arms still around me I started to relax my muscles. As he put his head down on my neck I asked him if he was alright.

"I saw Kaminari in the elevator. I'm the one who should be worried about you not the other way around." He said not breaking our hug.

"Oh..." my voice trailed off. "Yeah I'm fine, he's just so annoying!" I sighed.

"I guess I'll just have to stay by your side all night," he said giggling. "Just to make sure he doesn't come back.

With that sentence he let go of me. I could still feel the butterflies in my stomach. I knew I was blushing because my face felt like it was on fire. Bakugo's smirk also gave it away.

"As long as that's okay with you?" He asked starting to blush himself.

"I get to spend time with you and keep that creep away from me. Win, win if you ask me." I answer.

He had his hand on the back of his neck with an awkward smile splashed across his face. He had black tracksuit pants on with a white singlet. You could see his muscles tense up when he moved. He started to say something when someone interrupted him.

"Ahem," It was Mina. "Looks like you two are having fun." She had an evil grin on her face that I knew all too well.

"It's n-not what you think."  I stutter out before she walked away amused. I looked back at Bakugo who was about to leave me.

"I thought you weren't gonna leave my side all night?" I said crossing my arms.

"Oh I thought that you didn't want me around." His voice started to decrease in volume.

"Why wouldn't I want you around?" I wondered. "You're my best friend." I said with a smile.

"Ok then I promise you I won't let you down!" It seemed as if he was excited about something.

Either way at least Kaminari will leave me alone if Bakugo is here to protect me.
