Third persons POV:

The clock had just struck 4pm when Jiro heard a knock at her door.

"That must be Kaminari... I hope I look okay." Jiro muttered to herself as she walked to open the dorm door.

She got to the door and opened it to find a star struck Kaminari. He was wearing a nice pair of black sneakers and what looked like yellow board shorts. He was also wearing a black collared shirt that had little yellow dots all over it. Tied around his waist he had a black hoodie. His hair was tied into a messy bun with bits of his fringe hanging out at the front.

"Wow." was the only thing Kaminari could say.

He looked her up and down to see that she was wearing black, baggy cargo pants with a big black belt that had a shiny golden buckle at the front. It matched the colour of Kaminari's hair perfectly. She was wearing a purple singlet that had the words 'DEEP DOPE' written on the front. The bottom of her shirt was tucked into her pants at the front but the back was left alone. Her hair was messy but in a cute way.
And because this was a rare occasions Jiro decided to wear makeup — but only the smallest amount — mascara and lipgloss with a bit of blush.

"Are we going to stand here all night so that you can stare at me? Cause if we are I think I just stay he-" Jiro was about to finish her sentence when Kaminari cut her off by grabbing her hand and dragging her out of her room. She barely had enough time to close her door before she was pulled away.

*At the cafe*

After about 15 minutes of walking they made it to the cafe Kaminari had picked out. It was beautiful. The exterior was made up of bricks that had vines growing along the wall, there was two wide windows on both sides of the wooden door. Above the entryway there was a sign that said 'The Cozy Cafe' in running writing.

The pair walked into the shop. As they did they were greeted with a warm feeling and the smell of fresh coffee. Two of the side walls were covered with booths that made a pathway to the counter, where there was a chubby old man with a white beard making coffee.

When he turned around he accidentally dropped the coffee he had just made but he ended up catching it by putting his hand out and closing his eyes. Must be his quirk, Jiro thought.

"Is that you Sparky??" The old man said before adverting his eyes to look at Jiro.

"Haha yeah, it is. What are you still doing working here, man?" Kaminari answered his question with a chuckle.

"Someone's gotta pay the bills, boy." the man that looked like santa claus laughed.

"Who's the pretty lady?" He added before looking at Jiro again.

Kaminari grabbed her hand and told the man her name.

"We are in the same class at school." Kaminari explained. "Her quirk is amazing!"

The old man laughed again. "It's gotta be to get into that place. So Jiro what is your quirk?" He asked genuinely interested.

"Um so it's called Earphone jack. They are these headphone jacks that hang from my earlobes. When they are plugged into something, i can channel the sound of my heartbeat through them in the form of a violent vibration attack. The vibrations go into my enemies bodies to incapacitate them and most of the time defeat them." Jiro explained while she fiddled with her jacks.

"That is cool but remind me never to get on your bad side." The old man walked up to us and guided us to an empty table.

"I told you!" The blond said loud enough for all of the customers to stop what they were doing and stare at them.

Out of nowhere Kaminari was smacked up the head as he landed on the floor.

"DON'T DISTURB THE CUSTOMERS!!" The man scolded him.

Jiro bust out laughing but soon stopped because she realised Kaminari was staring at her.

"Hey, not funny!" Kaminari pouted while he stood up and walked to his seat.

"You're right, it was hilarious." Jiro replied calmly.

"Anyway, um i'll get a blueberry muffin with a strawberry smoothie that has-" Kaminari started before he was cut off.

"Cream with extra strawberries on top, same as when you were little." His friend finished. "And for you young miss?"

"I'll have banana bread and a mango smoothie please." Jiro answered shyly.

"Of course, that won't be long."

*while the owner of the shop was gone*

"I like this place. It feels like home and i've never even been here before." Jiro started the conversation while she smiled and looked around the cozy space.

"It's pretty amazing." Kaminari replied staring at her beautiful smile.

"Sorry by the way." He added onto his previous sentence.

Jiro just gave him a confused looked so he continued.

"About *i can't think of a name so imagine one :)* he can be pretty annoying sometimes. At least to the people that don't know him."

"I think he's funny... and he looks like Santa Claus."

Kaminari laughed loudly at the unexpected comment.

She wasn't wrong though. He had a short white beard that matched his hair. His eyes were brown, but they were so small you could barely see them. At the moment he was wearing a pair of jeans that covered the bottom of a striped shirt that had the shops logo on it. The only thing that set him and Santa Claus apart was that he wasn't fat. Chubby yes, but fat no. His stomach was rounded and he walked on sort of a wobble, but that could be his shoes because they looked 2 sizes too big.

"Here we go." The man said as he placed our orders on the wooden table.

"Enjoy." Was the last thing he said before he walked away.

For the rest of the evening Kaminari and Jiro talked about a lot of things. Their families, favourite colours, foods, interests you know the basics but then it when into subjects that were much deeper like their best and worst childhood memories, how their up-bringing's were very different from each other's.

It was almost 5:15pm when the the old man that looked like Santa came up to the pair and said that he was about to close up the shop so it was time for them to leave.

"Thank you for coming." He said as he waved to Jiro letting her leave but instead of letting Kaminari go as well he told him something that Jiro couldn't quite hear when she closed the door behind her.

"You got a good one. Don't let her go without a fight. Actually don't let her go at all." He told Kaminari.

"I know, i'm really lucky to have found her." He looked out the window in awe.

Once their conversation was finished Kaminari headed outside to meet Jiro. As she saw him she asked what their talk was about.

"Nothing important, just old memories." He responded with a light pink fading on his cheeks.

Without thinking he grabbed her hand and started walking in the direction of the beach like they had previously organised. Jiro was surprised but she didn't pull away like she normally would. She let him hold her hand. They both decided not to question her actions and let it be, for now.

And with that they walked off to the beach. Hand in hand, unaware of the red eyes that were burning holes in the back of one of their heads.
