Gotham Knight Guards

Chapter 12

       "HOW IN THE WORLD DID YOU GET THE INFORMATION WRONG!!??" Yelled a very angry Prince Ace at Jill. Every toon in the sewers was called into a meeting, now that it was discover that the rescue mission turned into a trap to capture one of them. "I'm telling the truth, there was no talk about of any trap your highness." "Did you even stay for the entire 3 hour time you were suppose to spy on them!" Lulu cut in, ready to destroy her. "W-well I...... no I didn't, I didn't think it would make a difference...." Lulu slaps her, "Every hour is crucial, every piece of information is important, nothing can be overlooked!!!" she screams as she violently shakes her. "Calm down Lulu," Brad restrained his wife. "Everytoon knows Cookie is one of the strongest toon among us. She'll pull threw."

"But what if they get her to talk?" "She wouldn't say a word." "Who knows what kind of torture she could go through."

Ace was completely angry at himself. He created the Resistances to protect everytoon. He was next in line for the throne, he had to protect all the toons, but he failed to protect his friend. More than once did she warn him about this mission, but he didn't listen. She's second in command in Team B, a top captain among so many and one of the best weapon designers they had. She may be young, but she was no pushover. He cares so much for her. She was one of his first friend as a kid and he promised to help take care of her since the day she was born.

13 years ago.....

     "She is so tiny." a five-year old Ace said looking at a newborn Cookie in an incubator. "Don't worry Rubi, she'll pull through, she's already proving herself to be a strong toon." Queen Joy said comforting her best friend. "I hope so, I won't be able to have another child." cried a very exhausted and heartbroken Rubi. A crazy fight happened in the palace where one of the men knocked over a 8 month pregnant Rubi, inducing her into labor. Lord Sam and Botas were dealing the situation. Ace was just staring at the baby's bright brown eyes as he allows her to hold his finger with her very tiny hands. "Don't worry Cookie, I promise to help take care of you and protect you no matter what." He said as little Cookie gives him an adorable tiny smile.

Present time.....

     'Only 1 out of 50 premature babies survive their first month and Cookie was the one to survive.' Ace thought. She proved her great strength since  her birth till this day. All these 8 years, she worked hard to be one of the best and still makes time to help the kids growing in this dreadful situation to smile. She had more hope than all of the toons combine together. He wasn't going to leave her behind, he promised to protect her no matter what. "We need to strategies a plan to brake her out." he suddenly said, getting everyone's attention. "We can't leave any toon behind, we get Cookie out and all the remaining toons as well." "Yeah right, I bet she already sang like a canary, and snitch on us letting the Parasites know where we live. We have to escape NOW!" Jill ordered.

"Is that what we really want, run away like cowards?" a voice was said in one of the dark tunnels. "What the... Cookie?" asked Brad. A blue light outlined Cookie's features as she enters the room, filled with determination and a daredevil smile. "COOKIE!!!" her family squealed as they rush over to hug her. Ace is filled with relief to see his best friend unharmed. "Are you alright?" "What did they do to you?" "Did you say anything?" "What's with the new gear?" asked Ace getting everyone's attention.

Showing them the ring, she gave a brief explanation of what happened, Cookie knew now was finally the time to act. "For so long we lived underground, in great fear of these disgusting creatures. I'm so sick and tired of letting these Parasites push us around. They think they're the ultimate life form, they are nothing but cowards that don't deserve to be on our planet or any other."

Ace finally feels a burst of courage hearing Cookie's words. "Cookie's right, it's time to get rid of these living nightmares once and for all." "But how are we going to stop them?" "Well I've brought backup with new weapons." claimed Cookie as she illuminates the dark room filled more toons ready for battle. "And I have this." Cookie said as she blast an opening that reveals a view of the palace.

"This war ends tonight."

In the palace.....

"How was it possible for a child to take down 2 of my best guards, free the prisoners, steal all the new weapons, and destroy the best fortified prison!!!" yelled the leader of the Parasites. "She had a blue ring that gave her some sort of power, it's nothing we have ever seen before."
"Beside Master, these filthy toons are nothing but cowards. They wouldn't dare to rise against us."

A huge commotion was heard outside the palace. Looking through the balcony, they saw an army of toons lead by Lord Ace in the front of the line while Cookie flew above,  deflecting any attack away from her fellow toons.

"Master, Master, t-the t-t-toons are revolting! What must we do?!" The Parasites guards yelled in panic. "This is impossible, those toons should've had their spirits completely shattered away!" Yelled the leader

In the battlefield, as much as the Parasites try to fought off the toons, it was impossible. The toons finally had the upper hand with Cookie destroying their tanks and missile. "Yo Cookie!" Ace called out. "What's the order your Highnesses." She asked as they locked backs. "Find Brad, get us up to the castle, it's time to kick those freaks out of my throne." "Right away Sire!"

At the Castle.....

"This is the last night any of you Parasites get to stay here!" Ace said blasting any Parasite in sight. "The leader of these freaks had blue and gold streaks, I bet he's trying to escape." "Some leader that guy." commented Brad. They enter the main room where Ace gazes upon the messed up painting of his family. "This will be the first thing I'll clean up when this is over." He said as he places his hand on the portrait.

"Too bad you'll be dead!" They turn to see the leader holding a giant gun. "It's him." Cookie claimed giving him a death glare. "Did you actually think you could defeat us, the all mighty lifeforms. Let see if your so call power can save you now." He shoots a giant missile towards them, believing they'll be instantly eliminated. Cookie, on the other hand, manages to blast the missile, protecting them all and creating an unknown sense of fear for the Parasite.
