Chapter 8

Wayne Manor.....

Damian glared with envy as Tsuki was enjoying her time with Aimi outside in the garden. Ever since Aimi appeared Tsuki seemed to enjoy her company more than her brothers and it's was driving them all crazy.

"We can't be totally mad at her, she has been in Tsuki's life more than us." Dick said. "Don't forget she promised the legendary Hiroikko Ninja to care for her and help with her training." added Tim. "That doesn't mean she can act like she owns this place much less take our little sister away from us." grumbled Jason. "You mean my sister." claimed Damian. "Our sister Damian." said an annoyed Tim. "As her blood brother, I have more rights than the rest of you." Before a bloody fight could start Alfred interferes. "Before you try to massacre each other young masters, Miss. Lucy and Mr. Jonathan are here to see Master Damian and Miss. Tsuki. "Oh great." mumbled Damian.

"Hey Damian." squealed Lucy excited. "Hey." he huffed. "Someone's grumpy." said John "So what else is new," mumbled Lucy, "so where's Tsuki, I brought her a few gifts with the help of Superkid." Lucy was holding a medium box while John was holding a huge one." "Should I be concerned what's in the big one?"

"Hi Lucy, hi Jonathan." Tsuki said coming into the living room. "Hi Sugarplum." Lucy said shoving the box into Damian's hands as she gives Tsuki a hug. "Hey there." John said as he ruffled her hair. "May I ask, who are these people?" asked Aimi walking in. "Uhg... This is Lucy Quinzel and Jonathan Kent my friends." "Wait, Quinzel? Are you related to Harley Quinn?" Aimi asked really suspicious. "Who wants to know?" Lucy asked equally defiant. "She's Hiroikko Ninja's student, Aimi Noriko. She's here to help with Tsuki's training." Damian responded. "How dare you tell them that?" Aimi said in shock. "Oh ok, yeah I'm Harley's daughter, but she lost memory of that. So to avoid losing my mind as she did, I decided to be a vigilante under Batman's eye." Lucy straight out said surprising Aimi. "Yeah, Damian told us in advance about you." John said as he put the gift down. "What's in the box?" Aimi asked glaring at Damian. "Go ahead Sugarplum, open it, it's for you." Lucy said excited. Tsuki walks up to the giant while Aimi is cautiously watching. Tsuki undoes the ribbon and all the wall covering the gift come down to reveal a beautiful dollhouse castle.

"Wow, you really outdid yourself Lucy." Damian said impressed. "Wait you did this yourself?" Aimi asked. "Yup along with these special made dolls just for her." She opens the smaller box revealing 9 dolls that resemble Tsuki, her father, her 4 brothers, Alfred, John and herself in a royal design. "How did you manage to carry that around." Aimi asked John. "Oh I'm Superman's son." he answered as he lifted the sofa and pushed it back proving his claim. Aimi was just confused, making Damian smirk in amusement.

That Night.....

"So you just accepted Quinzel's daughter as a friend, just like that?" questioned Wind Senshi as she and Robin were going to rooftop to rooftop. Much to Robin's displeasure, Batman had him and Wind partner up for patrol. "I was raised by assassins, I can confidently say she has no trace of evil in her blood. She's a bit mischievous but not evil." He responded to her. "I understand you'd be friends with Superkid, but being friends with the daughter of your father's worse enemy makes absolutely no sense at all." "Like I said, she has no trace of any evil in her." he responded annoyed. Before an argument can start, the store from across the street doors burst wide open as men in black ski mask run carrying bags of stolen goods into a white van.

"Robbery at the Twinkle Stone jewelry store. Get away car, white van, no license plates, buzzard sticker on the bumper, heading east." Robin said through his communicator. They started to follow the van to an abandoned storage facility. Slowly sneaking into window, they over hear the conversations going on. "We got enough to retire for the rest of our lives." the first robber said. "Heck yeah, and no Batman to stop us." "How about a robin?" Robin said as he jump from the shadows throwing batarangs at the men. Two men start fighting Robin as the others try get the bags back in the van, but stopped when Wind Senshi sliced the van in half. "You won't be going anywhere." she said as she turns the katana into a staff and joins in the fight. During the fight, one of the men take out a gun and gets ready to take a shoot when a whip hits it out of his hands. "That's a no-no. Looks like we came right on time for the party." Ring Master said as she joined the fight with Superkid behind her. Wind was surprised to see at first hand Ring Master saving her life. "Watch your back Ring." Superkid said as he takes a hit for her, without getting injured of course. Wind wasn't use to seeing this. She thought the best heros had to fight on their own, but being part of a team seemed rather fun.

At the end of the fight, they were all in a rooftop watching Commissioner Gorden and the cops taking the men into custody. "Well that was fun." giggled Ring Master. "Uhm, Ring Master, thanks for stopping the man's gun." "Meh, no problem." "Batman said to call it a night, see you tomorrow." Robin said. Ring Master and Superkid head off while Wind Senshi and Robin go off to another direction. "I see what you mean when you said she's not evil." Wind said starting conversations. "Told you." Robin said with a smug smile. "Ego much." she responds. "Look, I don't have any friends, I kinda raised myself to believe I have to be suspicious of everyone. The only person I ever trusted was my sensei." she said kinda ashamed. Robin was kinda stunned, but he knew exactly what she felt. "When Tsuki was born, I felt the responsibility to protect since her mother obviously didn't love her so I came just for her, but I'm kinda curious to know you all better." Robin was quiet for a minute before he said, "We'll be going to the park tomorrow at noon, do you want to come?" "Uhm- sure thanks." Wind said slightly blushing making Robin blush as well.

Back to school.....

"After a few days, Lucy and Aimi seemed to become best friends, and she's really helped us to understand Tsuki alot better."

Damian looked up and turned his head to see Aimi next to the window as she writes her paper down. He was kinda hypnotized over the fact how the sunlight made her seem to gleam very nicely. He shook his head to get that idea of his out of his mind and continues to write.

"Just when I thought I had enough friends, one came crashing down out of this world to shake our world upside down."

He smiles as he remembers the camping trip that changed his view over the galaxy.

Out in the Woods.....

"I really wasn't expecting Batman to let us camp out on our own." John said as he and Damian finished putting up the tent. "Well, why wouldn't he, we are fully capable of taking care of ourselves." Lucy said pulling out chocolate and marshmallows from her backpack. "One must connect with nature often and understand the great balance with in ourselves." Aimi said enjoying the view around her. "Just remember to activate your alarms when this go wrong." Damian said kinda annoyed over how everyone seems too layback. "We don't know what danger could approach us."

As night falls, they were roasting marshmallows and looking at the night sky filled with twinkling stars. "Hey John, does your dad ever talk about the other planets he's seen?" asked Lucy. "Sometimes, what I really enjoy are the other aliens he has seen." "At this rate, should we be surprised at what kind of aliens they are." started Damian. "The universe is an extended mystery Damian, no one can confidently say 'I've seen the whole universe.' " Before another word could be said, a blue comet blasted over their heads and crashed a few yards away. They looked at each other, rapidly suit up, and head to where the comet fallen.

"Father, something came crashing down near where we were camping, we're heading there now." "Whatever it is, keep your distance until we arrive, just surveillance it." Batman responded. "Very well." Robin responded as he looked up and saw two shadowy creatures what seems to be fighting. "Can you make anything out." asked Ring Master. "No, something is blocking my vision!" "That's impossible!" cried out Wind Senshi. "Uhm, guys?" Robin said standing from a different place. "Please tell me my eyes aren't playing tricks with me." he said with eyes ready to pop out. When the rest arrived, they were just as surprised as he was when they saw a serpent like creature fighting a living cartoon creature in a blue lantern suit.
