Gotham Knight Guards

Chapter 13

        "What sort of sorcery is this?" he asked visibly shaken. He takes out a remote and presses a botton, with hundreds of Parasites storming in. With her pupils glowing bright blue, Cookie did a massive blast, taking down every last one of them. "Not bad, now where's the over grown worm?" asked Ace as the dust settled. "It was a distraction, seeing his plan to kill us failed, the yellow-belly fled." Cookie said as she examines her surroundings. "We better head back to the battlefield, it's time to end this war" she said as with blue flames in her eyes with a daredevil smile.

Back to the battlefield.....

     "This is Lulu on the line, we are running out of amo, but the enemy keeps coming." she said as she is surrounded. A sudden blue blast takes every parasite down. "Hey Starlight." Lulu says smiling up. "Hi Mom" Cookie smiles brightly when she recognizes hope in her mother's eye. Flying upward, Cookie can see how everytoon is fighting with a new strong spirit. She finally see's her father and mother's eagerness for life, for that happy future they wanted. Prince Ace has finally taken his place as king on Earthy with much more confidence. The depressing toons once encacerated, determined to keep their freedom.

Looking up, she sees the stars that had always refilled her hope, for the first time in 8 years, she feels free.

Cookie flys around, blasting any tank or missile until she spots an unknown building realizes that's where they are coming from. "Lord Ace, a word." "Whatcha need Starlight?" "There's a tower where all these overgrown rolling tin cans and flying cigars are coming, I may need some grenades or dynamite. Better to have a perimeter of 50 ft clear out away from the east side." "Consider it done," he pulls out a key, "Don't blow yourself up." " At your word your highness." Flying off, Cookie rapidly collects all the TNT and surrounds them all around the building and lightens the fuse. "Everytoon, HIT THE DECK!"

                ☆!!!KABOOM!!!☆

The whole building came down destroying everything and every parasite inside. A huge cheer was heard all around, as the Parasites only resource of strength disappears before their eyes. Any Parasite that tried to run, was taken down one by one. Looking over the horizon, Ace Cookie, Brad, and Lulu can see, for first time in years the small rays of the morning dawn, shining through the dark clouds. They all smile knowing they will be OK.

"Hey, the Parasites are getting away!!!" some toon yelled. A sudden rumble was felt on the ground as they all see a spaceship coming up from behind the palace. Cookie can clearly see the leader giving orders through a window. "I'm going." she quietly said. "What?" her family and friend asked. "I'm going after them. I'm going to make sure no other planet has to suffer what we did in hands of these Parasites!" Cookie angerly replied. They look at one another as Brad nodded in approval. "Make sure you come back alive. That's an order." Cookie just smiled. "Don't worry, I will always return to you all."

"Hurry up!!! We must return to the Queen's planet and bring reinforcement to take down this worthless planet!" "Yes Sir, right away." "Don't worry, these lame excuses of life will be begging for mercy when we come back." "Sir, something seems to be chasing us!" "What!!!" "Yes, it seems like some sort of blue streak?" The leader looks out the window. "T-th-this can n-not be!"

Cookie couldn't believe her eyes. She wasn't sure if her ring would hold her out into space, yet here she is. Escaping away from the dark clouds, breaking out of the ionosphere, and finds herself flying among the stars. Contemplating the beauty, around her, she was interrupted from a sudden blast. She looks over at the spaceship, and is eye to eye contact with what she considers her worst enemies.

"Surrender now, before we completely blast you, and maybe we won't destroy this worthless planet!" screeched the leader through the microphone. Cookie just blast off one of the guns of the ship. "Never again will you ever come and invaded my planet or any other planet again!" she responds.
