Who ever said three's company?

Rebecca (Becca) Carter

Rebecca Mae Carter was only 16 when she met the loves of her life. Yes, you read that correctly. Loves. Plural. Steven Grant Rogers and James Buchanan Barnes.

When they first met, it was all friendly. But everything changed soon after. The three soon began to secretly date each other. It was a secret due to the strict rules of the time. No one would except three people being romantically involved with each other. So they hid and were happy in secret. That is until James "Bucky", left to serve in the war, while Steve and Rebecca were forced to stay behind. The three were separated for the first time ever.

Steve was drafted into the army shortly after Bucky had left and now Rebecca was truly alone. Her sister Peggy was also helping with the army. Rebecca was shocked when her sister asked her to join her in her mission.

Nonetheless, she accepted and was thrown into one wild ride.

But first, here's the story of how they got there.

Steve invited Rebecca to the movies with him after he was denied to serve again. She agreed and they were off to forget the horrid day.

However, during the commercials before the movie a man was rudely interrupting the message for well able men to join the army in service of the country.

Rebecca rolled her eyes but did nothing to stop him, seeing as he would, by no means, listen to her. Or anyone for that matter.

Steve in the other hand decided to speak up after noticing a woman crying while watching the videos of men and boys from all ages.

"War continues to ravage Europe. But help is on the way. Every able-bodied young man is lining up to serve his country. Even little Timmy is doing his part collecting scrap metal. Nice work, Timmy!", The man's voice from the video filled the theater.

"Who cares? Play the movie already!", The rude man exclaimed.

"Hey, you wanna show some respect?", Steve spoke up.

Rebecca nudged him in the arm with her elbow shaking her head.

"It's not worth it Steve. You just got into a fight last week.", She whisperered.

"It won't get that bad again. I promise.", He smiled at her.

She tried to give him the stare but his smile was too contagious for her to do so. Instead, she smiled at him with a nod.

"Meanwhile, overseas, our brave boys are showing the Axis powers that the price of freedom is never too high."

"Let's go! Get on with it! Hey, just start the cartoon!", The awful man shouted again.

"Hey, you wanna shut up?", Steve exclaimed to the man again.

Rebecca only glanced at him, saying," Steve" in a warning tone.

"Together with Allied forces, we'll face any threat, no matter the size.", The video ended and the cartoon began.

Rebecca and Steve walked outside the building and saw the man who was yelling earlier. He smirked at the sight of Steve and forced the pair of them into an alley.

Another man soon came into the alley.

The first man nodded to the second after the first man noticed he was glancing at Rebecca.

The second man dragged her into another quiet part of the alley. She was screaming, but the man covered her mouth and with a quick punch to her cheek, she fell into his arms. Unconscious.
