Chapter 16

Court house*
Jen's POV

Today is the custody hearing. I'm nervous. Me and Lucy have to testify. I don't want her to, she's only a kid. After Helen tried to send her back to the orphanage I don't want Lucy anywhere near her. Ginny is gonna be there with us, but Josh has to watch Oliver and the rest of the cast has to film.

They call Helen up to the stand first, she try's to prove Colin is an unfit parent. But when Colin's lawyer asked her what happened with Lucy, it starts to go bad for her.

Colin is called to the stand next. Everything goes fine. Then it's Lucy's turn. I'm so nervous. Thank goodness Ginny's here, she's keeping me calm.
"Lucy can you tell me what happened the day after you lost you memory"
"I ran away from the hospital and stayed at a friends house. The next day I left and went to the park were Helen came to me and said she would take me back to the orphanage. I didn't remember who she was so I just thought she was trying to help."
"Thank you Lucy." she's about to leave the stand when Helen's lawyer gets up.
"May I ask you some questions?" She nods. He asks her about what happened again, she tell him the same thing she told Colin's lawyer. The judge calls for a 15 minute recess.

*30 minutes later*
Lana's POV
Me and the rest of the cast have been sitting in the break room for hours waiting to hear from Colin, Jen or Ginny. Josh's phone rings, it's Ginny.
"Hey so how did it go?" you can hear Ginny talking but I can't make out anything she's saying. "that's great okay well see you tonight."
He hangs up the phone and just acts like everything is normal. "well?" I ask "well what?" He asks "how did it go!?" We all yell. "oh they want us to come over tonight." "Josh what about Evan?" Sean asks "oh they got custody." we all jump up and cheer.

A/N sorry that is chapter isn't the best, but I'm home sick form school. I'm going to try and update again today but I don't know it depends on how I feel.

Ugh I really don't wanna go to school Thursday because my teachers are gonna be mad I missed school today and are gonna yell at me. I know there probably ranting to my class about me. So if hear about them bad mouthing me(and it wouldn't be the first time they said rude comments about me to my class) I'm gonna be so mad.
