"That was really weird Izzy. He didnt react at all to it," Jessie said.

"I know," I said.

"Should we say anything?"

"Ill bring it up with my mom. Please delete the Audio for the camera. I said things I shouldnt. I could get all three of us killed. And yes he is cute," I said.

She began to speak but I cut her off. "My office," I said.

She nodded and we silently walked into my office. I locked the door I set down Demetris file then led her to my bedroom which was a connecting room and I locked that as well.

"Tryna kidnap me?" She chuckled.

"No I just want to make sure no one is barging in on our conversation," I said.

She nodded.

"Hes not like normal vampires Jess. I mean he isnt. He is kind and caring and was genuinely concerned about me. Hes nice and I feel guilty for doing this to him. Yesterday he asked my mom if I was going to kill him if he could say goodbye to his family first. I... Ive never met... have you? How did you know the connection between you and Jo?"

"When I first met him I knew he was different. He was kind and caring. He could tell I was new here. He encouraged me to do the things not wanting me to get hurt. I noticed my emotions were more intense around the third time we had a test. He almost died and he tried to escape. I found him lifeless at the doors and I forced him to feed. I didnt know if the blood would kill him. But it didnt and then I felt something amazing. It felt like heaven when he drank from me. I brought him back to his room and he had me drink as well and I imprinted on him. I fell inlove. I appreciate what you did for me," she whispered.

"Youre my best friend. Id do anything for you,"

"Same here," she said.

"Demetri... he offered to take me away if I let him go. He would take me back to the volturi and tell everyone it was a misunderstanding. He said he will take me away so I dont have to work here," I whispered.

"What did you say?" She said.

"I said I couldnt. I wanted to but I couldnt," I whispered. "Did you use your blood on Jo?" I asked.

"No. I wasnt trained on how to take blood yet," I said.

"Jessie. What if I'm... we are starting an imprint? My blood didnt effect him and when you let him feed from you he didnt have a reaction either..." I said.

"Ohmygoodness!" She said in one word.

"We will need to keep this too ourselves. Okay? We will go to the master library tonight and Ill get some books and do research on it. But I need to get out of here. Im done with everything I need to today. Want to go out for dinner?" I asked.

She nodded and smiled. "Get ready and Ill meet you in the car in twenty," I said.

She nodded and smiled and then I unlocked both doors and she left. I paged my mom to come. "Izzy is everything okay?" She asked.

"I dont know," I said truthfully.

"Whats going on?"

"Has there ever been a vampire who didnt react to our blood?" I asked.

"Id have to check with the log books. Why?" She asked.

"Uh Demetri. He didnt react to the blood. I got my blood ready overnight but when I used it today he didnt have any type of reaction. I'm going to repeat the  test tomorrow but with someone else's blood. Dont tell father though," I said.

"Of course," she said.

"Uh mom also can I stay with Jessie tonight. We are gonna do some research and I just need to step away for the night,"

She nodded, "I'll let the warriors know,"

I nodded. "Thanks mom," I said.

She nodded and hugged me.

I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to meet Jessie.

"Got everything figured out?" She asked.

"Slowly. Hope you dont mind we are having a sleepover at your place. We will be doing research about all of this," I said.

"Oh that sounds totally fun," she said with sarcastic tone.

"Jess. I need to know more. I need to know more about imprinting. Im scared as I dont want my father killing me because of this. If Im starting an imprint I cant continue to do it to him," I said.

"Lets just take one step at a time. Maybe he is just a really caring vampire? Theres a few of those. Like Jo? He never hurt anyone he was kind and caring. Maybe some vampires are different and not the normal no humanity," she said.

"I dont know," I sighed. "Lets just get to the library," I said. "Then we can have dinner."

She nodded and then we drove to the library.
