When I woke up this morning I felt better after all of the events of last night. Knowing that two boys were fighting over me and the fact that I had put them both in their place. And getting to talk to Phil again was probably the greatest part of the night. I still have to get ready for the dinner and get all of my errands for the day done before I can leave. I got out of bed and slipped on a hoodie and some shorts for my errands and grabbed my keys.
"Karl, I'm headed to the bank to pay some bills. I should be back within an hour or so." I yelled out not sure if he was awake or not. I headed outside and climbed onto my bike. Heading off to the bank. Traffic wasn't bad but when I got inside of the bank I was shocked by how many people were inside. The bank was relatively big but it was still a little packed. When I looked around I saw familiar pink hair.
I groaned inwardly to myself. I grabbed a number and sat down in the line. I couldn't think of what would happen if he saw me there so I hid behind a bunch of people. When my number was finally called he was still at the counter. Sadly it was the counter right next to mine. When I was noticed by the receptionist they smiled brightly. "Ahh Nyx, what can I do for you today?" They asked quietly, it was the usual guy that helps me with my bills. "Just the usual gotta pay the bills and then I'm headed out for the rest of the night." I said as I pulled out the bills and my checkbook. "Alright well I already have your bills pulled up in the system so all we have to do is get them paid. If you could go ahead and fill out those checks for me that would be great."
I began to fill out the checks when I felt someone watching me. I turned my head slightly to see Techno was looking at me. "You have a staring problem sir?" I quietly returned my checks. "Only when the people I'm staring at are gorgeous and have punched me in the face before." The receptionist chuckled and began to write something down on his notepad. "Well maybe if you hadn't trashed my bike that wouldn't have happened." I said as I finished the last check and handed it to the receptionist. He took them and handed me the piece of paper he was writing something on. I looked at it and chuckled.
Someone has a crush on you :)
I looked back at him. "No." I said simply and grabbed the rest of my stuff and walked away. "Bye Nyx have a wonderful rest of your day." the receptionist said as I waved. I made it back to my bike and began to get myself set up. While setting myself up I saw Techno walking over to me. I started up my bike before looking around and seeing if anyone was behind me, as unlucky as I am I should have assumed someone was. When I looked back in front of me Techno was standing right in front of my back hand in the middle of the handle bar.
"So, why are you still holding a grudge against me for wrecking your bike when we were all teens?" he asked quietly. I snorted at the stupid question. "Well if you must know, that bike was a gift from my grandfather." I said as I smacked his hand to get it off of my bike. "Well I apologize and if it makes you feel better I wrecked my own bike right after." he said with a smile. "That does make me feel better but I have to run. I have very important business to attend to." I said before tearing out of the parking space and heading back to my house.
When I finally got home I saw Nick's car in my driveway. I opened the door to my house and put my keys in the bowl by the door. "KARL I'M BACK!" I yelled out. I heard a scream and then a loud laugh. "Hey Nyx, we are just in the living room." I heard Karl say as I took off my slip on shoes. I walked into the living room to see Nick with his head in his hands gripping tightly at his face. Karl was giggling and I couldn't help but let out a chuckle. "Karl we have about two hours before we have to get ready." I stated walking over to the fridge to grab a small snack. Karl nodded and Nick groaned. "Where are you two going tonight?" Nick asked, finally being broken from his frustration. "Nick, I already told you." Karl said frustrated with his boyfriend's stupidity.
