Part 50 - Goodbye!

Next Day
It was visarjan day and along with that even ManLak had to leave tomorrow morning 5:00.

Nandini wore a blood red colour plain saree paired with plain red sleeveless blouse. She looked stunning in it but one thing was missing and that was her beautiful smile. Manik came from behind and was left speechless looking at her. He was wearing a plain grey  kurta with white payjama. Not to forget he looked super hott too. He saw her setting the pallu with a sad face so he went near her and back hugged her.

Manik - kya baat hai aaj tum surprise nahi hui?

Nandini - (not looking at him and still adjusting the pallu) aadat ho gyi hai ab aapki.

Manik - mujhe bhi. I will miss you

Nandini finally looked at him with moist eyes

Nandini - I will miss you too

Manik - u know naa Nandini agar mere paas aur koi option hota toh main tumhe chod kar kabhi nahi jaata but yaha baat laksh ki hai and...

She turned around and placed a finger on his lip.

Nandini - aapko explain karne ki zaroorat nahi hai I know laksh aapke liye kya mean karta hai.

(She somehow controlled her tears not making it more difficult for Manik but he could see it through her eyes.)

Manik - I Am Sorry!

Nandini nodded her head in no, not being able to speak due to tears in her eyes which might flow any moment.

Nandini - (trying to speak) I need to get ready puja ke liye.

Manik wiped her invisible tears while his eyes were moist too.

These 10 days not only made them fall in love more with each other but also made them habitual to seeing and being around each other. These were the best 10 days of their life. It taught them so many things and made them stronger with every fight they had.

Manik kissed  Nandini's forehead and stayed there for a few seconds more.
It was difficult for Manik too, to hold back his emotions so he left the room.

Nandini finally let the tears flow down while Manik wiped them.

Ragini was at laksh's door. She wore a preety baby pink colour anarkali. Her open hair were blowing in the air while her eyes were fixed at the mirror in which laksh's reflection was visible. Laksh was too looking at her through the mirror. He wore a mint green kurta and white payjama. Both of their eyes were moist. Both of them recalled the moment they first saw each other. But Ragini's word's 'Laksh we can't be together' kept ringing in his ears and he moved his eyes away. He couldn't take the risk of breaking his heart again, no matter deep within he was somewhere forgiving her as the time was passing but could he risk it one more time? Well if you asked him right now the answer was a sure shot no.

Ragini entered in. With an ointment in her hand.

Ragini - woh aunty ne di hai tumhare feet par lagane woh jiju aur di ko saath mein thoda time mil jaaega issliye.

Laksh simply bobbed his head without any argument which was a surprise for Ragini

She then helped him sit on the bed and silently took the ointment on her finger and started rubbing over his legs while laksh just kept looking at her.
She finally looked at him but this time he looked away.

Ragini - ek baat kahu?

Laksh - hmm

Ragini moved closer to him with hope in her eyes.
