Part 70

Manik and Nandini entered the room where Nyonika was and saw that Raj was holding Nyonika's hand and his other hand was caressing her forehead. She had regained consciousness by now and was talking to Raj. Both of their eyes were moist. Manik ran and hugged Nyonika tightly and didn't utter a word.

Nandini asked Nyonika through her eyes if she was okay to which she bobbed her head with a soft smile. She then caressed Manik's back.

Nyonika - I am okay beta....

Manik then broke the hug and kissed her forehead to which she gave another soft smile.

Nandini - mom-dad there is good news hum sab ke liye. (Both of them looked on while Nandini's eyes were moist) Laksh is fine and there is nothing to worry about.

Both of them thanked God and their happiness knew no boundaries.

Nyonika - (with tear filled eyes) mera baccha....

Manik wiped her tears nodding while his eyes held tears too

Raj - arre yeh rone ki baat thodi hai, Khushi ki baat hai

Nandini was wiping her tears but fresh ones kept flowing since there was an instant relief that laksh is alright. Raj saw that and hugged Nandini.

Raj - bas mere bacche!!!

Manik too side hugged Nyonika. Though everyone had tears in there eyes but there were smiles on their lips too.

Nyonika - chal manik, mujhe apne laksh ke pass le chal.

Doctor entered the room.

Doctor - I am sorry Mrs. Malhotra but aap yaha se kahi nahi jaa sakti jab tak main check naa karlu.

Nyonika - doctor please jaldi check kije mujhe apne bacche ke pass jaana hai.

Nandini - Manik aap laksh ke pass jaaiye main maa ko leke aati hoon.

He bobbed and left

Ragini was sitting beside Laksh, just looking at him with tear stained face. Her tears had dried up by now. She was caressing his hair with a smile on her face.

Ragini - bohot mazza aata hai naa tumhe hum sab ko pareshan karne mein! next time aisa kuch kiya naa toh muh tod dungi main tumhara. Jaan nikaal di thi tumne hum sab ki. Aur abhi bhi attitude dekho main itne time se tumhe milne ke liye aayi hui hoon but tum aankhein hi nahi khol rahe ho.

There was a knock on the door and she knew her time was up.

Ragini then kissed Laksh on his forehead.

Ragini - Main jaldi waaps aaungi

And she left.

Manik then came in.

He sat beside Laksh holding his hand from both his hands and kissed it. His eyes filled up once again looking at his baby brother.

Manik - I don't say this often but I really - really love you Laksh and I promise you ke mere hote hue main tujhe kuch nahi hone dunga. Tu meri jaan, meri zindagi, mera sab kuch hai tu aur tere bina tera bhai nhi reh payega. Tujhe bta hai tu aise baar baar idhar hospital mein aa jaata hai toh tere bhai kaa kya haal hota hai? Bta hai naa, toh kyu aise karta hai fir?  Dhyaan rakha karna apna. Agar tune mujhe woh hi time pe apni chot dekhne de di hoti toh abhi itni problem hi nahi hoti naa! But nahi aap toh Laksh Malhotra hai, ziddi no. 1. Aaj tujhe bhi mujhe ek promise dena hoga ke aage se tu kabhi apni health ko neglect nahi karega aur apna pura dhyaan rakhega. Promise kar. (No response) chal koi nahi tu araam karle, par uthte hi main promise lunga tujhse, iss baar nahi bach payega tu.
