At the stadium bathroom I change into my purple and white fringe from my hoodie. Venturing through the stadium to my team "Are you girls ready?" "Yeah you??" "Yeah we do this every game. Now gimme my pom poms." Every game when they call out the players the cheerleaders are at the sides of them one they come out,waving their pom poms. They call out the cheer teams then the Volleyball team. Once Ushijima is called out I flash him a quick smile. And there that small but not really noticeable smile is. My cheeks flush a little. But I brush it off.

After our routine Karasuno's team does their own. We take a little break and the other half of our team does the the sidelines. We can't change because of the award ceremony. Semi sets to Ushijima and we spikes directly past the libero. Which means WE WIN!! We start jumping happily while the boys do their boy happiness thing. I can't help but look at Ushiwaka.

During the game the last set specifically he had an angry look on his face. But he used that anger to win but I wonder if he's ok... The girls go to congratulate the boys and do the usual handing out of bottles and towels. When I get Ushiwaka I tap his shoulder. "I brought these for ya." I hand him the bottle and towel. "Thanks" "Hey Ushijima?" He hums in response.

"During the last set you seemed angry. Is everything ok?" His look softens for a split second but goes back up quickly. "Everything is ok" He answers. "You sure?" He chuckles and says "I'm sure" I smile widely and turn away.

The game just finished and everyone is cheering because we won against Karasuno. I couldn't help but be happy. My reason for winning might be childish but I wanted to shove it Hinita's face. Going over to the net where he is I exchange a few words. "Your quick attacks did give us some trouble. It's a good weapon"

"Your spikes are amazing they gave us a lot of trouble as well" Kageyama says slapping a hand over Hinita's mouth. Probably stopping him from saying something dumb. He somehow gets his hand off and says "Next time we'll beat you!"

"Sure you will" I smirk and walk away. When I got back the girls were congratulating the boys but Y/N is nowhere to be found. Tap tap tap!

I swing around to the shorter one holding water and a towel for me. "I brought these for ya" She hands me a bottle water and a towel. "Thanks" "Hey Ushijima?" She calls. I hum in response. "During the last set you seemed angry. Is everything ok?" My look softens. 'She's too cute. Always looking out for me...' "Everything is ok" "You sure?" She question further. I chuckle and say "I'm sure" Giving her head pats. She smiles widely and walks off. 'I wish I could make her smile like that more often'

'Wtf That look! It looked so caring. Does he know about my little crush? Did Tendou's dumbass tell him?' The award ceremony begins and the trophies and medals are given out. When Ushijima gets his medal I smile even wider and Tendou noticed. 'Welp he's gonna tease me about this. I hate it here' The ceremony ends and we all leave. I go to my parents who watched the whole game. "Darling that routine was amazing!" My mother beams. "Thanks mom. Is it ok if I get the car? The teams are going out for food"

"Yea we figured as much so we called an uber. We'll see you once you get home!" She kisses my cheeks and leaves with dad. I have the greatest parents' I quickly change into my sweats and hoodie with little perfume deodorant and gloss fixing up my faux locs. I leave the bathroom and head to my car.

When I get there I see Tendou and Ushijima waiting for me."What do you want from me nigga??" I whine teasingly. He gasps before he starts his sentence. "Isn't me your bestfriend come to invite to dinner enough. What has thine done to you!" I giggle and unlock my car. "Want a ride?" "That's what we came for dumbass." He opens the door. "No need to be so vuglar fuck nigga."

Once everyone has their food they dig in. And Yamagata chokes so I ham lock him. "Wow Y/N I can stay here forever." I let go of him and go back to my seat. I continue to eat my food and conversate with the boys of the cheer team. "I really have no idea how you keep up with us." Christa says towards Richard. Some of the guys are gay or bi in our group and the school didn't allow it at first but got used to it. "Yeah like were some crackheads when we're ready" I laugh. "I agree with that statement" Richard raises his hand. "Wow Richard you sound so sophisticated" Laughter fills the room and everyone is having a good time.
