Jc's P.O.V.

I caught Madi staring at me after cleaning my wounds.

I chuckled.

"What?"

She asked blushing.

I just smiled and so did she.

I slowly sat up on her couch.

"Feeling any better?"

She asked with a smile.

"Yeah, definitely, thank you."

I said looking down.

"You okay?

She asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine."

I say trying to avoid the conversation this would turn into.

"Jc..."

She said quietly.

"Has this happened before?

She asked looking up.

She seemed to have a saddened expression.

"Y-yeah, what do you expect, I'm the school nerd."

I say looking down.

She doesn't say anything she just looks down.

"I-I should go."

I say before standing up.

"No."

She says slightly pushing me on the couch.

"You need some rest, I'll take you to school tomorrow."

I didn't argue with her.

She lets me take a shower and luckily I had extra clothes in my bag to sleep in.

When I came out of the bathroom she was sitting on her bed.

"Hey.."

She says quietly.

"Here you can sleep in my bed tonight."

She says pulling back the covers.

"Madi, I can sleep on the couch, you know."

I say chuckling.

"No no it's fine I'll sleep on the couch."

She says smiling.

"Madi your gonna make me feel bad."

"It's fine Jc."

She says as she grabs a pillow and blanket to sleep on the couch with.

I get out of her bed and suddenly got the courage to tell her my feelings.

"Hey Madi..."

I say lowly.

"Yeah, Jc?"
I don't respond at first.

"Jc, is everything ok?"

She asks.

"Yeah, I just.. umm."

I trail off.

She sits down beside me on her bed.

"I just really... like you."

I try to spit out as fast as I can.

She smiles at me.

I blush.

"You know what Jc?"

She asks.

"W-what?"

I ask hesitantly.

"I like you too."

She says.

No way.

There's no way she likes me.

How?

No she's lying.

She has to be.

I don't beli-

Im cut off my her smashing her lips into mine.

I'm shocked at first but then I kiss back, our lips moving in sync.

"Believe me now?"

She asks after pulling away like she was reading my mind.

I was too shocked to say anything after so I just smiled stupidly.

"Was that your first kiss, Jc?"

She asks looking up at me.

"Maybe..."

I say embarrassed.

I pull back.

"Sorry..."

I say.

"Wait.. for what?"

She asks.

"Kissing you, I shouldn't have."

I say with my back to her.

"So you regret it?"

She asked in a whisper.

"What?"

I ask lowly.

"Nothing, I just uh-"

she started to say.

I walked over to her and grabbed each side of her face and pulled it to mine for another kiss.

"No I didn't regret it, but I'm sure you will."

I said and walked over to her bed.

"Why would I regret that?"

She asked confused.

"Madi, you have a boyfriend, he will kill me if he finds out, and we aren't even.."

I trail off.

"Together."

I whisper to where I think she can't hear me.

I turned around.

She looked hurt.

"Madi I shouldn't have came here, if anyone finds out your gonna get picked on for even being around me."

I say turning back around so I wouldn't cry.

She comes up behind me and wraps her arms around me.

"I don't care if I lose popularity, or anything, I just want to be with you."

She says.

I smile.

I turn around to face her, as a tear slides down my face.

"But what about Jake?
