There was tension, Avocato was sure of it...yet....
"Look at you! You've grown your buissness quite a lot, haven't you?" Gary laughed, smacking the back of the other poor human, Yak Oceano "it's be a shame if someone were to find out how this buissness started, hm?"
"Y-yeah..." the brunette nodded, his whole body hunched over as if the presence of Gary was heavy to deal with
"Still, you've been doing quite well for yourself" Gary walked into the office, sitting down on one of the chairs and making himself comfortable
"Gary..." Yak said a bit more strongly now, fixing his posture as he headed towards his chair that was behind a big desk "What exactly do you want?"
"What's your best ship here?" Gary asked, looking around as he placed his feet on a coffee table and patted the seat besides him for the others to join
"It...has not been named yet" Yak replied with suspicion, watching as everyone else sat down awkwardly
"I want that one" Gary pointed at him with a toothy grin
"What?!" Yak stood abruptly, his hands smacking the table "No matter how much I owe you or...how much you know....It doesn't mean you can just--"
"I want a ship with canons and stuff" Gary babbled on anyway "and a good interior design!"
"Gary..." Yak whined as he sat down once again "I can't just hand you over our best ship- plus...it doesn't have canons"
"It doesn't? Aw..." Gary frowned as he scratched his head "well... what ship would you suggest for uuh...let's say- a pirate?"
"Pirate?!" Yak's eyes widened "No! Absolutely not! I won't sell anything to those....animals- way less give my ships away to them for free!"
"Why not?" Gary asked, ignoring Avocato making facial expression in front of him to be quiet
"They steal- do illegal things! It will ruin my buissness" the brunette huffed as he stroked his small beard
"You aren't any different though..." Gary said "you know...with illegal things--"
"Gary!" Yak looked at the other's in panic before "Hold on...they are pirates aren't they?"
"Maybe. Maybe not" Gary shrugged before chuckling "if your buissness is the problem just put on a show and make it seem like it was stolen by pirates" he suggested. Frowning, Yak bounced his leg anxiously as if thinking things through- Gary was someone who wouldn't make such big risks without thinking it though... and even if he didn't, he'd find a way to get payback.
"I'll see what I can do" he sighed in defeat
"Neat!" Gary cheered, turning to Little Cato who sat besides him to give an high five "so? Where will we be staying?"
"Excuse me?" Yak lift a brow in question
"Well you can't just let your understanding customers out in the streets" Gary batted his eyes.
Clean walls and soft beds, a nice balcony view where the sun would greet them each morning- that's the room they were gifted in the Inn.
"So this was your plan" Avocato muttered, dropping his belongings, which was really just his coat and hat in a sack, next to one of the beds "threaten people?"
"I wouldn't say threaten" Gary huffed as he jumped onto one of the beds, sighing with a satisfied grin "it's more of a favour for a friend"
"Doesn't matter!" Little Cato bounced next to Gary, copying his relaxed pose with both arms behind his head as he layed belly up "I like it!"
