Spring was just beginning, and the cold snow was melting slowly, day by day. The birds were returning, and the flowers were starting to bloom once again. Inside a small cabin, located a little further away from Sangonomiya Shrine - slept a person with burnt-orange colored hair, a few white extensions and fluffy ears. His deep, but bright colored eyes fluttered open as the sunlight peeked through his window and hitting his face - him slowly waking up, and rubbing his eyes afterwards. He took a deep breath and tried not to fall asleep again, as he was still tired from staying up late the night before. He muttered a small curse, as he rubbed his temples.
"Shit... how much did i drink?" He mumbled, standing up to stretch his body, and fluff up his tail. Gorou, as the usually early bird he was, struggled to wake up properly this morning. He had been out with his companions the night before, and they had been drinking. They were celebrating yet another crisis that had been successfully avoided. He accidentally drank too much, even when he knew what effect the alcohol had on him.

He opened his window, and inhaled the morning breeze that went straight to his nose. He sighed eventually, and thought about the things that might've happened when he was wasted last night. He shook his head, and tried not to worry - he trusted his companions and they had probably taken care of him. He got dressed, grabbed his bow and opened the door.

He sighed yet again, before he stepped outside.
"Hahh... Another day, filled with opportunities..." He mumbled to himself, trying to encourage himself even when he felt like staying in today. He had duties that he needed to fulfill, and that good work-moral(e) kept him going. He looked around, and met his friends' eyes, and warm smiles. They greeted each other, and started walking together towards the Shrine to get today's tasks and missions.
"Rough morning?" One of them asked Gorou, and he could only sigh and nod in response. Chuckles were heard from around him, and he rubbed the back of his head.

"I think i might've hit my head last night though..." He mumbled, yet another wave of chuckles. They were talking about the avoided crisis, and it's events - eventually arriving at the Shrine, meeting up with Her Excellency.
