"Is there anything in particular you wish to do?" Gorou asked his white haired friend after a while longer of walking. Kazuha, who was walking a little in front of Gorou, turned around to look at his buddy. He smiled friendly, and shook his head.
"No, not really. I'd just go with whatever you pick." He said, with the soft smile still on his face. Gorou's tail started wagging, and his eyes glistened with joy - as Kazuha wanted to follow him wherever. It made him feel special.
Gorou almost started bouncing around as it made him excited, and since there was a lot he wanted to do, and many things he wanted to show Kazuha. But, he didn't want to seem weird or too energetic, so he kept calm. (Lmao insecurities, am i right).
"Okay then... How about we go to Inazuma City? We could look around and see if you could find some souvenirs or other things from the shops?" Gorou suggested, and Kazuha nodded in response.
"That sounds good. I'm kind of hungry as well..." The white haired boy mumbled, as he searched in his pockets for mora. Gorou shook his head, and Kazuha looked at him in confusion and curiosity.
"No, no! My treat, I'll pay! Don't you worry, I have enough for the both of us!" Gorou spoke, and Kazuha couldn't help but giggle slightly at Gorou's little panic burst. The two boys stood there, giggling and laughing with each other - as their eyes suddenly met. Kazuha admired Gorou's deep blue-green eyes, and Gorou studied Kazuha's red ones. A small flush of light pink color covered Gorou's face, as Kazuha raised an eyebrow at him - as a response to Gorou's tail wagging again, more eager this time.
"Is looking into my eyes making you happy? Heh, I never would have thought..." Kazuha said, a small smirk on his face as well. Gorou shook his head as he snapped out of thought, and looked away from Kazuha's gaze.
"N-No... I mean, yeah but... Agh, forget it!" Gorou uttered, his behavior being more nervous than usual. Kazuha chuckled a tiny bit, before he started walking in the direction where Inazuma City was located. Gorou cleared his throat and tried to get rid of the pink color on his face, as he started walking as well - following Kazuha.
time skip, 2 hours later
"Have you finished eating?" Kazuha asked Gorou, as they now sat at a new restaurant that had just opened in Inazuma. They had already been to the shops, and both Kazuha and Gorou had bought their own souvenirs and stuff. Gorou looked at Kazuha, and nodded while he was chewing. Kazuha smiled at his friend, and found it funny how hungry Gorou actually was.
"You were pretty hungry, huh? Sure seems like it..." Kazuha spoke. Gorou nodded yet again, and now actually managed to swallow the food he was eating.
"Yep! This was delicious, and I haven't eaten anything since yesterday afternoon." Gorou said, Kazuha's expression turning more worried than pleased.
"What? You haven't eaten anything?" He asked, obviously worried for his best friend's health. "Gorou, you must eat more often! It's not good for your health, you know." Kazuha spoke, Gorou's ears slowly laying down, and his gaze being almost pleading. Kazuha noticed Gorou's reaction, and sighed.
"Oh, I didn't mean to make you upset. I just care about you, okay?" Kazuha explained, trying to lift Gorou's mood again. Gorou nodded, and took a sip of his water.
"It's fine, I understand... I was out with friends last night, and we had a lot to drink - so I completely forgot about food." Gorou said, Kazuha looking at him curiously. Gorou explained the night before, and what they did - Kazuha listening closely. Kazuha noticed Gorou being very excited, and that he loved talking about something that interested him etc. He actually enjoyed listening to Gorou talk, and to see the way his excitement was portrayed in every hand gesture Gorou did. It was amazingly adorable to him.
