"Maybe we should head back." I suggest as Brian mutters a string of curses under his breath, tapping his phone screen angrily .
"Yeah, maybe you're right." He sighs, and slips the phone back into his pocket. He's the only one who was willing to use any battery for this, mine and Hope's were nearly dead and Mason's died last night.
But even a few miles away, we got nothing in the way of signal or wifi.
Honestly though, I wasn't really expecting much.

Hope looks up as I sit down next to her, the dark circles under her eyes more evident than the day before.
"Nothing?" She asks. I shake my head and she sighs quietly.
"This is why I don't do anything." She mutters.
I can't really blame her at this point, she's probably the biggest introvert I've ever met. It's a miracle I got her to come on this damn trip at all.
She suddenly glances at Mason uneasily, discomfort clear on her face.
"Uh, Mia? Could I talk to you please?" She asks in a small voice. Confusion bubbles in my mind, but I nod and let her lead us over to the dock out of earshot of the others.
"What is it?" I ask, concerned. She bites her bottom lip.
"I think he's one of those." She says. I cringe.
"He's been flirting with you?"
"No, but I saw him leering when we kissed."
I shudder. God I hate those.
"Did you tell Brian?" She shakes her head, strands of fiery hair coming loose from her ponytail. I have to resist the urge to tuck it out of her face.
"Are you ok?" I ask. She gives me a small smile.
"Yeah. I'm good."
