"What the fuck, D?" Wing Boy growls as another one of 'D's' shots flies wide of the cups. Not sure how these boys were ever undefeated wherever they came from. Aaron starts laughing as our turn rolls around. He tries to pick me up in a hug, but for some reason—the alcohol, definitely the alcohol—I'm even more annoyed with him than I was earlier. I quickly turn my body and act like I didn't realize what he was trying to do. He gives me a weird look but still leans in and lands a sloppy kiss on my cheek.

I glance up in time to see a smirk on Wing's face. I grab my ball and get ready to take my last shot. The twins have four cups left on our side. We are down to one on theirs. If I can sink this, their redemption would suck. All four cups, no way.

Wing is the only one who's made anything all game. That could be due to the fact that Becky has wrapped herself around the other twin and while kinda gross, has been effective in distracting him.

I feel Aaron's hand land on my waist and he pulls me into him.

"Come on, babe. You got this," he whispers in my ear and his alcohol breath makes me cringe.

"I can't do this if you don't let me go," I'm clearly annoyed at him now, but he is either too drunk to notice or doesn't care because he doesn't let me go. I push against him but he hangs on.

"Hey bro, I think she wants you to let her go," Wing's voice penetrates the noise surrounding us. He's glaring as Aaron's head shoots up to look at him.

"Excuse me?" Aaron demands, "I think I can touch my girl, whenever I want to." He pulls me closer into him as the room gets quiet. Everyone stares as the tension builds. Wing stands up straighter, crossing his arms again. Pulling his shirt taut and accentuating the fact that he's all muscle and wound tight. D puts a hand on his brother's shoulder and starts whispering in his ear. Everyone stays silent. Wing uncrosses his arms but maintains his glare.

"It's all good," D starts talking. "He just meant she wants you to let her go so she can shoot. You guys are really kicking our ass," D tries to diffuse the situation jokingly. Wing does not look amused.

"Yeah, Aaron," I mutter, "I just need my arms free so we can win, okay?" I turn towards Aaron and give him a small smile. He glances around and notices that everyone is frozen—watching us. He loosens his grip on me and lets me go. I step to the side a bit.

Looking back at Wing, I notice his jaw clenching as he continues to keep his eyes on Aaron. He finally looks over at me and the corner of his mouth twitches slightly. I'm not sure what's going on, but I know I need to end this game and get my ass out of here.

I clear my throat, in an attempt to clear my thoughts, and make my shot.

Not surprisingly it goes right in. Everyone in the room starts yelling and being rowdy again. Aaron turns to all of his friends, ignoring me, and lets their praise run over him.
