It's Sunday morning and I wake up to the ringing of my phone. I look at the name. It's from my boss. He was supposed to come back today, so I wonder why he is calling me.
"Hey Leona, sorry to wake you but I looked at the work schedule today and saw that I have requested you to work way more than you need to be working so you get the day off today." He speaks.
I'm too tired to even comprehend what he is saying. "Oh, okay thank you." And before I can even say bye, he ends the call.
I look over to the clock on my nightstand to look at the time and see it is 6:18 am. Two hours before I normally get up, so I decided to just go back to bed.

"Wake up, wake up, wake uppp."
I wake up to Julia bouncing on me on my bed. She has a house key, so she comes over whenever she wants to.
But maybe I should take it away if she wants to wake me up from my slumber.
"What time is it." I groan, rolling to my side.
"It's 11 now wake up we are going to go out."
I finally sit up and open my eyes. "You got the day off too?" I ask.
"No, I had today off, but I heard you did too and thought it would be a perfect idea to go out and have a girl's day." She says, grinning from ear to ear.
"No, Julia I have to get some things done." I have some errands I need to run.
"Oh well, you can do whatever you 'need'". She says in air quotations. "To do you can do another day. Today we are going to go shopping for some new clothes and go out tonight and let loose a little. You have been so busying working you haven't had fun in a while." She says In hopes I agree to go out with her.
I guess she is right. I haven't had fun in a while, so I agree to go out. She yells happily and pulls me out of bed to get ready.

We went to the mall and bought way more than we should have. I got some new dresses and some new lingerie that Julia forced me to get because apparently 'It was made for me.'
After we shopped and Julia bought half the store, we went out and ate at my favorite Italian restaurant. Nothing beats my parent's cooking, but this place has some good stuff.
"Where are we going tonight?" I ask Julia while taking a bite of my food.
She smiles and looks at me "clubbing at the new bar that opened down the street of our bar."
I've heard of that place and apparently it is the hottest place in down.
"How are we going to get In, don't we need to be on the list?"
"don't worry, I got us on the list." She says smirking.
Knowing her, one of her one-night stands is probably like the owner or something, and she asked him for a favor.
