Chapter 2

"Don't you look pretty today~" the person said while smirking.

"W-WHAT?" Shuichi yelled.

<SHUICHI POV>

I push the person away from me and proceed to stand up. With that voice, he's totally a guy...yup definitely a GUY. I looked at him up and down, he has a long purple hair and purple eyes. He is also shorter than me. I looked at him in the eyes before speaking again.

"Who are you?!" I softly yelled. Before he could response, there's a knock on the door. I turned around and unlocked my door. I slightly opened the door to peeked and saw my neighbour, Kaito.

"Is everything okay, Shuichi?" he said with a worried face.

"Yeah, i'm okay." I response with an awkward face.

"But i heard you yelling." he said.

"Oh...its nothing...i just saw a bug." I said with an awkward tone.

"Oh...alright then. Make sure you rest well." he said while running to his house.

"I will" I response and gently close the door. I turn around and sigh before I speak.

"Who's that?" the purple guy ask.

"Its none of your business and who are you?" I asked with an angry tone while looking at the shorter male with a dull expression. The shorter male looked at me with a blank face.

"Ouma."

He spoke.

"Pardon?" I response with a confusion looked.

"My name is Ouma." he said.

"I feel like I heard that name before...." I response with a thinking looked.

"Oh?" he said while raising his eyebrow. He walked up to me and push me, he smirking at me and I looked at him with a nervous looked.

"You really don't know who I am?" he said.

"Am I suppose to know?" I response and looking away from him.

"You know...you should never invite anyone in." he said, still smirking.

"How was i supposed to do? You literally broke into my house." I response with an annoying expression and push him back. "Why I even talking to you? Your literally a stranger here and we're not even friends" I said with a dull expression.

"Aww....do you want to be my friend?~" he response in awe looking expression. I rolled my eyes and proceed to go to a kitchen. I ignore every word he said to me until he said...

"Don't ignore me, Saihara-chan." he said with a sad face. I stop whatever I was doing and look at him with disbelief face.

"H-how do you know my name?" I stutter.

"What? Everyone knows who you are, Saihara-chan." he response while raising his eyebrow.

"Make..sense....." I mumble while looking down.

"I heard next week you have to go to Osaka." he response with a big smile. I look up to him and looking at his purple eyes.

"How do you know?" I said with a scared face.

"Oh, there's a blonde girl with pink eyes say that you go to Osaka next week." he said with excited looked.

"Looks like he meant Kaede, I guess."

I thought to myself, ignoring the fact that he spying on us or he just heard it accidentally 

"Next week, I go to Osaka too." he said with happy face and an excited tone. I stop thinking to myself and look at him.

"Really?" I said while raising my eyebrow.

"Yeah." he said while walk up to my window and unlocked it.

"I hope we can meet again, Saihara-chan." he said and jump out, leaving me with a dumbfounded face

"What...the hell....?"

I thought to myself while looking left and right.

<THIRD PERSON POV>

The next day, Shuichi is on the bus waiting for his destination. He's thinking about the guy who broke into his house. He fidgeting his hands waiting to arrive.

{TIMESKIP}

After arriving, Shuichi walked straight into the building. He then proceed to go to Detective Gumshoe's office. He arrive and knock on the door.

"Come in." say Detective Gumshoe.

"Hello, sir." he response. "I was wondering if you could give me the serial killer's face that you request me to capture him." he said with an awkward face.

"Oh, very well then." he response and proceed to take a folder. He pull out a picture and give it to Shuichi. "Here's the picture." he said. Shuichi take the picture and look at it. He shock and blink twice.

"That's the guy who broke into my house..."

He thought to himself, his hand were shaking at that moment. He then remember that his name is Ouma.

"Kokichi Ouma...."

He thought it again and still shaking.

"Are you okay, Shuichi?" say Detective Gumshoe with a worried face.

"I'm alright, i'm just freezing." Shuichi response.

"Its not that cold." he said with a confusing looked.

"Uh...its nothing." he mumble.

"Anyways, I decide that someone will accompany you." he said.

"What why?" Shuichi response with a confusing looked.

"Because the more the merrier and you don't look like you can't fight." he said.

"Ouch." Shuichi response with a disappointed looked.

"Well, its time I introduce you to him....KEEBO!" he said and yelled at the door. The door started to opened and then a robot comes out. Shuichi looked surprise.

"A robot?" he said, still looked surprise.

"Yup, meet K1-B0 or Keebo." say Detective Gumshoe while pointing at Keebo.

"Hello, Shuichi." He said while walking towards Shuichi. He then proceed to raised his right hand to shake Shuichi's hand.

"Nice to meet you." he said with a smile.

"N-nice to meet you too..." he stutter and raised his right hand to shake Keebo's hand.

"For now on, Keebo will be your personal bodyguard." say Detective Gumshoe while crossing his arms.

"My personal what?" Shuichi said with a shock face.

"Your personal bodyguard." Keebo response to Shuichi's question. Shuichi looked at Keebo with disbelief face.

"Since you need to capture Kokichi Ouma, you really need a personal bodyguard." say Detective Gumshoe while looking at Shuichi's direction.

"Is he really that dangerous?" Shuichi asked.

"Yes." say Detective Gumshoe.

"Very." say Keebo.

"Wait, really?" Shuichi said while looking at them both.

"I'll tell you everything, Shuichi. Have a seat." say Detective Gumshoe while walking towards the seat. Shuichi gulp and proceed to walk towards the seat also. They both have seated and Detective Gumshoe start to talk about Kokichi Ouma...
