Chapter 1

The cheating

1.

Kageyama

     "Psst! Hey!" When I looked back to check who called me, Oikawa who's in his usual clothes appeared before me. He's wearing his childish grin while staring at me as he approached where I'm at.

     "What do you want?" is the first thing I asked him. He chuckled before wrapping his arms around my shoulder. I groaned, annoyed.

     I've know Oikawa since I was in junior high school. He's part of the volleyball club where I decided to join at. He's cool at first, but as time goes by that I'm getting to know him, I started to feel irritated whenever I see him or feel his presence.

     Today is friday and the last day of school. I've got nothing to do today except from going home and practicing volleyball alone. It's always been like that ever since and I'm already get used to it. Not that I'm complaining though.

     As we stalked the quite busy hallway, Oikawa won't stop blabbering about how mean Iwaizumi is. He keeps ranting on and on and I don't give a shit to everything he says. All I want from him is to leave me alone, but I can't just tell him that. I'll sound rude.

     We exited our department building and strode our way to the parking lot, that's just where my phone started vibrating. I thanked the Holy God who sent an angel to save me from Oikawa. Now I have an excuse to make him leave me alone for about a few seconds at least.

     I answered the call without looking at the caller ID and placed the screen against my ears, waiting for the other line to speak.

     [And here I thought you won't answer my call.] My brows narrowed when I heard the familiar voice. I didn't bother double checking the caller since I already confirmed who's I'm talking with.

     "Yeah? What do you want?" I played with my fingers while waiting for her to answer me.

     She giggled, sounded drunk. [Hey, that's not how you talk to you sister, Tobio,] and laughed.

     "I'm hanging up." I was about to end the call when she spoke that took away my attention.

     [Mom caught Dad cheating. They're currently in our house.] There's something with her voice that I can't point out, but all I can tell is that she's mad and disappointed. That's why you're drunk.

     I stare at the void in front of me, don't know how to react. All I remember after hearing that is I ended the call, gripping my fist out of anger. When I started walking to get back home, Oikawa suddenly held my wrist and pulled me back. I darted him a look which made him stare at me in shock and let go of my wrist immediately. I left him there without a word.

     I'm so pissed off right now-no-I'm fucking mad as hell right now. I could feel my body burning up with the madness I'm feeling right now. My mind is focused on what I will do and what I will say to my Dad when I get home.

     "KAGEYAMA, STOP! ENOUGH! THAT'S ENOUGH!" The following events happened so fast. I only found myself punching my Dad on the face. I'm so mad. I'm so angry. I'm so pissed. How could he do that to Mom?

     In every land of my punch on his face satisfy me. I've never been so satisfied with my life until now that I'm punching him until he bleeds. My sister and mother tried pulling me away from him, but they have no enough strength to do it.

     I only stopped when he's already laying down on the floor, his face covered with blood. The girl he cheated with pushed me away and run to him.

     Hah! What a thick of her face is. They have the audacity to do their disgusting business in our house?! He deserves it!

     "ENOUGH! PLEASE!" Mom cried while hugging me from behind. My sister sobbed besides me while hugging my arm. She keeps shaking her head, telling me to stop. Telling me that it's enough. Telling me that it's not right, that I shouldn't have doen that to him, that he's still my father.

     "That's bullshits!" A tear left my eyes before I went out of the house.
