     "How are you feeling?" I asked as soon Mom opened her eyes. She blinked for a few times, then looked around the room before her dark orbs landed on me. She smiled weakly. She still haven't gain her energy back yet and the doctor said it will take a while so we should let her rest.

     "Hey, sweety. Are you okay?"
     "I should be the one asking that."
     "I've never been better."
     "Don't lie."
    
     She sighed while closing her eyes before shaking her head. "You really won't let anything pass, no?"

     "Are you hungry? Thirsty? Want me to call a doctor?" Seeing her woke up made me feel at ease. I've been worrying about her while she's unconsciously laying in her bed these past few days. And now that she knows that, I don't think I can even calm down anymore. I'm worrying about her not about myself. This could affect her so much and I'm afraid something bad might happen to her if she dig any further.

     "I'm good, sweetie. Where's your sister?"
     "At work, but she will be here later. I'll go call a doctor."

     And pressed the button next to her. Seconds has passed before the doctor arrived and checked up on her. Thankfully there's nothing wrong and she's fine. She just needs a lot of rest before we discharge her.

     "About your father..." After the doctor and nurses left, the room fell silent. Mom broke it by starting a conversation about my old man. And I could sense that it's the topic that I don't wanna talk about.

     "I-I'm sorry you guys have to go through that.. I didn't know he's capable of doing such things to you and to them." I didn't speak. I only bit my lower lip and listen to her.

     "I'm going to file a case and I will make sure he will never have a chance to get out of the jail.. I promise you.." She reached to my hand and held it, squeezing it tightly as if assuring me.

     "I'm so sorry.."
     "It's not your fault. None of us. It just happened."

     "Hey, Kageyama, how's your Mom?" Hinata besides me asked while playing with the ball in his hand.

     "She's doing fine.."
     "Hmm.. that's great. What happened anyway?"

     I didn't answered. I only stayed silent. He sensed the sensitivity on the topic so he stopped asking any further.

     "You know what? Just set for me." He stood up from the floor and threw me the ball. I immediately catched it before following him on the court. Our thirty minutes went like the other day; playing volleyball and ditching classes.

     "Say, Kageyama, have you been fallen in love before?" he asked as soon we went on a rest by the bench. That somehow made me silent—thinking if I ever felt that kind of illuminatic before. And suddenly, a blurry face of a person appeared before my eyes. We're playing volleyball, too, but the differences are we're still a kid and we're messy all over the body.

     Weird. Who is that? Why did they suddenly appearing at this moment?

     Shaking my head, I answered. "No."

     "Pfft! Your life must be boring."
     "Than spend my life on something that illuminati created. Love is just illusion. It's made to kill people."
     "I can't believe how narrow minded you are when it comes to love. It's my first time meeting a person like you with that kind of mindset."
