Chapter 5

5.

The boy named Hinata

Kageyama

     "By the way, I'm amazed by how you jump so high.." While looking at the net before us. I played with the ball in my hand before tossing it towards him. He immediately run fast like flash then jumped higher than my height. I watch while those scenario happens infront of me with full of admirably.

     As soon he hit the ball and landed on the other side of the net faster than twenty four hours, he looked back at me and smiled. I stood there, speechless.

      The sun coming from the window hit his face, making him shine. Somehow, I suddenly can't take my eyes off of him and a sudden feeling of deja vu hit me. This feels like it happened before.

     I fell into a deep thoughts while thinking of something deeply that I forgot about my surroundings.

     I feel like I met him before. But where?

     Shaking that thoughts away from my head, I gather all my senses back before looking away from him.

     "You look stupid," I mumbled, but it seems like my words reached his ears.

     He frowned. "Who are you calling stupid, stupid?"

     "Haaaah?" I immediately asked him, feeling a bit pissed off. He raised his right eyebrow at me as if judging me by my appearance.

     "Chill your balls," he countered while facing me with his two fist infront of me as if asking for a fight.

     I walked toward him and took the ball from his hands. He remained with that position like he's  cautious about what I'm gonna do to him any minute. Heading back to my position from awhile ago, I heard him spoke.

     "You know... you've been so familiar with me since the first day I saw you.. have we met before?" We actually got the same feeling, but I remained silent. If only he knows how I've been suddenly getting deja vu from him and suddenly feeling the familiarity with him, I would think we have met before, too, or maybe everything is just my hallucinations.

      Instead of answering his question, I only shrugged my shoulders. As I faced him back, I caught him looking at me intently.  When I was about to ask, the bell of the school interrupted me. Both of us were looking at the speaker in the court as it proceeds to ring.

     "I guess I have to go. I still have my class that I need to attend," I started, starting to clean up the mess we made. Hinata didn't say a word and just helped me instead.

     Classes already ended. I'm now on my way on the exit of our department along with Oikawa and Iwaizumi. As usual, I'm left out. They're currently having a small fight, throwing each other names and so on the list that you will find childish for a collage student.

     Plugging my headphones on, my phone suddenly started on vibrating. I check who would text me around this hour only to read that my sister texted me, telling me that mom was sent to the hospital.

     As soon I finished reading the text, I immediately run off to call for a cab. My sister sent me the address of the hospital where they took Mom so I immediately told it to the driver. The whole ride is making me nervous that I keep telling the driver to drive fast.

     I can't calm. I'm starting to overthink things that's making me nervous. At those moment, I'm scared. I could only do is pray that my Mom is doing fine. That she's okay.
