Summary: Aether goes in search of the bard to bring up the proposition he mentioned the day they both got drunk at Angel's Share.

It's a little hard finding Venti again.

Aether had searched every corner of Mondstadt, looking for the bard—even the places that he knew the other male would frequent the most. But with no luck he had sat on a stool in Angel's Share with a pout on his face, Diluc found pity in him and handed him a grape juice box.

"I know you're looking for Venti," the red haired man spoke as he sipped on the juice, "But he won't be dropping by here after what he pulled last time with you."

"Wait...... but that was my fault." Aether shook his head, "If you should punish anyone it should be me. I'm the one that begged him for a drink... Did I do anything bad?"

"Hmm. If I recall you had passed out for quite a while and then both you and Venti started dancing ridiculously until you puked onto one of my customers." Diluc huffed, "I should've thrown you both out as soon as I've learned that he had shared his drinks with you."

Aether blushes in embarrassment, "Oh... was that all? What happened after that?"

Diluc clears his throat and for a second he looks a bit embarrassed himself.

"I recall you throwing yourself at the bard and if I remember correctly, you had moaned about how you've been 'wanting him so bad'." It's not Diluc explaining it, and instead Kaeya who has taken the seat next to him with a lopsided smirk.

Diluc sighs, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"After that both of you left. But not after you crashed onto a table and spilled the drinks of high paying customers. I had to replace their drinks and apologize on your behalf because the two of you were clearly in a hurry to leave."

"Yes, I'm sure they were in a hurry to leave and do some other more exciting things..." Kaeya winked his way and the blonde could do nothing but try to hide his shame behind his hands.

"O-Oh... I'm so sorry Diluc. I promise I'll pay you back once I get enough mora to cover the expenses."

Diluc shakes his head, "No need. Your partner in crime already paid for everything in full. Though he is still banned from stepping foot in here for a while."

Aether frowns, "But that was on me... I was the one that begged him to give me some of his drink."

"Yes, but he was the one who complied."

"I think he just likes seeing your pretty face and can't bring himself to ban you." Kaeya grins when he sees the irritated expression in Diluc's face.

The blonde doesn't think his face can get any redder. Yet even though he's surrounded by many handsome men, his mind can't rid of the Bard.

"Ridiculous." Is all Diluc mutters and Kaeya points out how he didn't deny it.

"Thank you both. I must get going now." Aether pauses as he stands on his feet, "If you guys see Paimon looking for me please let her know that I'll be busy today as well." He bows his head in politeness and as he leaves he hears Kaeya chuckle under his breath and whisper, 'busy once again huh. he sure is healthy isn't he Diluc?'.
