Chapter 13: Once, we were friends

~ Twelve hours later ~

4:14 am.

Sora paced around in his room, biting onto his nails nervously as he thought of ways to get his friend back. Hina sat on Sora's bed. Sora guessed she was texting one of her friends.

Hina looked up at her older brother, she too, felt the same thing he did, but didn't know what to do to help, after all, she wasn't that type of person

As she looked at her brother, she noticed the little details about him, that his hair was now slightly messy, his eyes showed so many emotions that she was able to count them all

But, she understood

She wanted the same thing, only, they didnt know what to do, their mother, mellissa, was in her room, asleep, they assumed.

But every now and again, they could hear soft cries coming from her room, they didn't like it, they didn't want their mother to cry over what their father had done

"That's why he followed", Hina mumbled as she looked back down on her phone. She tried to forget about what happened earlier that day, that's why she was on wattpad

This app, helped her in ways she couldn't express to people, that's why she's always on her phone, that app or texting other people becuase she wanted to be part of other people's lives when hers, isn't going the right way

Sora looked at sister, he could tell that she was sad, He had never seen her like this, not for a long time

This time, he knew that (Y/n) had an important part to play in Hina's life, what it was? He didn't know

"Hina" The male called out his sisters name, "Let's go and get her back" he said as he clenched his fist, Hina looked at him, shocked writen over her face

"Are you stuipd?" Hina spoke, "How are we suppose to do that? We can't leave the house without mom waking up and talking about mom, she's not very reliable at the moment"

Sora bite the inside of his cheek, he knew that Hina was right but he couldn't just sit by and worry over (Y/n), who knows what Haruma and Ren are doing to her

Sora could feel himself getting worked up, he couldn't help it, he liked having the chibi around, he shook his head, No, in fact, he loves having (Y/n) around, she makes them smile even when they don't feel like it

Sora glared at Hina, "So? Your forgetting that I can call Yuuki an-" hina cut him, angrily, "We can't do anything Sora! We don't even know where dad works.. mom, she's.." Hina shook her head, she could feel the tears falling out her eyes

"Kioshi ran off after dad, (Y/n) wanted to go with dad! And Yuuki.. your friends don't even know about her!" Sora smirked, Hina looked at him confused

"What?" She asked him, "I just remembered that Gabriel has got a drivers licence"

"...You can't be serious?"

9:43 am

Haruma ran towards the laboratory, where he was hoping that his boss, Ren shota, was at. Haruma held onto a small cage that was holing an (H/c)-haired chibi, leaning against the bars as she slept soundly

The male had dark circles under his eyes, he didn't sleep, he kept on going to his work place, even though he had nearly fallen alseep at the wheel countless times

He couldn't belive he had done it, he had found the bosses lost daughter, was Ren actually going to be proud of him for once? Was he going to get an promotion?

That's unlikely

Haruma thought and he opened the door to the laboratory, the area was dark, though, the light was trying to fight its way inside

There was tubes, beakers, wurtz flask and even the, dividing funnel that was connected to the main equipment, was on the floor, some of the equipment was shattered to pieces whereas others was still intact

Haruma gluped, he took a step inside the room, tightening his grip on the small cage

He opened his mouth, going to speak before a voice interrupted, "What are you doing here" the voice sounded mad, haruma shivered

"I-i.. I fou-" the man walked towards him, his hands in his pockets, he walked slowly yet terrifying, sending chills down haruma spine

As the man, named Ren, walked stight up to him, his wondered down to cage holding his one and only daughter, (Y/n) shota

Ren quickly snatched the small metal cage and looked at the chibi, this fast motion cause (Y/n) to wake up and fall over on her side

"..ow" She mumbled while rubing her head, not noticing the new male in front of her 

"S-so? As.." haruma coughed mid-way, "A-as I was saying.. I found her" he manged to finish the sentence

Listening to what the male said, (Y/n) lifted her head up as her (E/c) instantly meet a dark pair ones

(Y/n) gasped in shook, her eyes dulled a little as her iris's shrink

This man, why did she feel like she knew him? "..Your" the chibi mumbled out, not thinking as she stared into his eyes

The male smiled fondly at his small daughter, "(Y/n).. (Y/n), your still thr same as I remember" he spoke

Ren looked over at Haruma, the said male had took a few steps back when Ren had taken the cage, "Who's on your team again?" Ren asked suddenly

"There was.. you, Timmy and..?" Ren stared at Haruma, waiting for him to finish his sentence off for him

" O-Oh! And Sara!" He finished off the sentence as Ren put his hand behind his back pocket, reaching for something

"Thanks, my dear friend.. but, you know what happened to them?" Ren questioned the man, (Y/n) tried to see what Ren held behind his back

"They.. they died sir" Haruma gulped, taking a few more steps back from the male, "You know how?" Ren asked

Haruma shook his, signaling no

(Y/n) gasped as she saw what Ren was hiding, "No! Don't do it!" The chibi shouted at her father, "Please! Sora and Hina is waiting for him!" (Y/n) said to him, hoping he won't hurt Haruma

Ren looked down towards her, "Shut it dear", he looked back at Haruma, this time he moved his hand from behind his back, holding a gun

Haruma's eyes widened, beginning to piece together what had happened to his friends, this, he didn't want to tell Mellisa

Nor, did he get to say goodbye to his family, if he were to die by the hands on Ren

'Maybe kioshi was right' He thought but this moment, he just wanted to make his friend happy again

But, was he happy? Now that he (Y/n) back in his arms? Or, hands

"Did.. did I make you happy? Ren?" Haruma asked his friend as he pointed the gun at his head

(Y/n) was pleading with Ren, hoping he'll put the gun down and say it was just a prank, but, even she knew, that this was far from a prank

Ren gave Haruma dead eyes as he tightened his grip on the handle of the cage, "..Very much"

He replied, then, pulled the trigger

Ahh.. its so short T-T

Hopfully the next chapter will be a lot longer..

And, in case if you did notice, I did change the chapter name as I think it suits it more
