Chapter 12: My family

                     ~ (Y/n)'s POV ~

"That's why I helped her escape in Hope's that Mr okin will find her!" Kioshi shouted at Haruma, his hand quickly turned into a fist

Haruma gave the man a dead glare, then a smirk appeared on his face, "Dont you know what Ren had done to that man?" He asked Kioshi, who in response stood in shock as his eyes widened

What had they done to him?

What have they done to my first friend?
Kioshi stiffened, the look on his face was a scared and shocked mixed into one

His breathing had gotten more rigid, he lighted his hands to his head and gripped o to his hair tightly

Sora held on to me tighter, if that was possible. Hina just stared at the man as he started to mumble unheard things to himself

"Kioshi.." melissa said the mans name as she watched him have a panic about the words that her husband had said

Haruma turned to look at Sora, a small smile on his face, "Sora" he said his son's name with care

"Give her to me" he stated as he held his hand out, "She has to go back to her family" he told him

My family..

The way he said those words I too, wanted to see my father, but with all the information I know about that man isnt good

Plus, how do I know that he is telling the truth? What if he is just saying that so I go with him?

Either way, Haruma won't give up without a fight, "Sora, Give her to me, if you do then we can go back to how we used to be, live without a care" his smile grow

"No.." Sora mumbled and put me in his pocket, I tightly held onto the edge of the pocket, not wanting to let go

"No I wont!" He shouted at Haruma, his eyes slightly widened in shock, "I give her to you dad" Sora's eyes hardened with a slight glare

"(Y/n) is now our family too!" He stated and took a step forward, " She doesnt belong to Ren, Shes her own person and shouldn't need to hide because o-"

He was cut off as Haruma slapped his cheek, the force was hard as made Sora face the other side of the house, "Haruma!" Melissa shouted at her husband as she ran towards her son

She looked at his cheek, which was already starting to turn red, melissa gasped in shock and felt tears in her eyes

"Sora.." I said his name, looking up at him, he slowly looked towards his mother and smiled at her

Melissa and Sora.. mother and son, both looking out for each other, Hina quickly got in front of them, with her arms out

Haruma just stared at the darked-haired girl, "Move Hina" he said but sounded more like a demand

Hina shook her head each sides, "No dad! Becuase you'll hurt them!" Hina shouted at her father, haruma's glance darked

Haruma clicked his tongue in annoyance, he was going to hurt her if I don't do anything, but, what could I do?

He was a lot bigger then me and could easily take me away from Sora and his family.. But i didn't want to sit back and watch Haruma hurt his family like this

If this carried on this then.. Mellisa will be sad about Haruma and then.. they might break up which will only end up hurting each other as well as Sora and Hina

What could I do to help?

What if I end up going with him?

Well he then stop hurting his family and take me back to my own father? Who - I dont know - might end up hurting me in the end?

Becuase I'm his dead daughter who somehow came back and ended up like this

Kioshi, melissa, Hina and Sora.. will I see them again if I do end up going with him?

I dont want to leave them, nor Sora's friends! Yuuka, Gabriel and Kio! They are also my friends who I hold dearly to me.. even if I dont know them every well!

Mellisa worriedly kept her eyes on Sora's red cheek, as he kept his eyes on his father, occasionally looking over at Kioshi, who was still breaking down

I have to help..

"I'll go with you!" I shouted at him, everyone looked down at me as I let go of Sora's pocket, "Just please don't hurt anyone else!" I plead

Everyone's eyes widened at me, why? Oh, becuase they never expected me to do this? But I have to..

I dont want anyone else to get hurt but this man!

Haruma smiled and pushes Hina out of his way, she didn't say anything to him in shock

"That's it.." Haruma said while taking a few steps towards us, "Come to me"

I looked up at Sora and smiled softly, he slowly shook his head, signalling no,"Sora.." I said his name, gratefully, "Thank you for trying to protect me all this time.. even though it was a short while"

His breath hitched, "Even though I had fun while staying with your family, I think.. It's my turn for me to protect you this time"

"No.." Sora mumbled out in disbelief, "(Y/n).." Mellisa spoke up, saying my name, which gained my attention,"Thanks everyone!" I smiled cheerfully at the family

Kioshi just stared at us, finally calming down his panic, his hands at his side as his hair was now a fluffy mess

Haruma reached out to grab me. And I let him. It's my turn this time to help protect this family, even if it means giving myself up to them

"No!" Sora yelled out, his hand reaching for me, wanting to have me back in his hold, "Dont do this dad! Please!" Sora begged, tears was starting to shine his eyes

Haruma just looked at his son and sighed, he mumbled some words under his breath and quickly walked his way out of the house, his hand tightening around me

Haruma mumbled under his breath before looking back at Sora and slamming the door shut
