Chapter 14: (Y/n)'s family

*Sad noises*

3rd pov

A woman with long (H/c) hair was standing the kitchen, next to her was her husband as he smiled and talked to the woman, she smiled every now and again, listening to her husband rambling about work

Recently, he had moved up in his place as a scientist, meaning now he had one of the top spots and now could do further research with much more equipment. He could also work in his own laboratory

Moving up in the ranks was a good thing for this family, as for Ren and his wife, Mei Shota was poor, they didn't have enough money to buy an house, or even a big enough apartment for themselves

However, as Ren became a scientist, they quickly earned more money, their first buy with the money was a bigger apartment.

With this apartment, it had two rooms, one for themselves and small room for a nursery, as Mei was late in her pregnancy

For Ren, this meant for him to work overtime to ensure that they had enough money to look after his unborn child, however, not long as moving up the ranks means getting more money

He couldn't wait

To a be a father and have money to help support his growing family, he could finally give his wife all the things she wanted, that is if, he quickly moved up the ranks

As for mei, she seemed more then happy with what they already have got, she told her husband that they don't need expensive clothes, items or a large house

As long as the house has got two bedrooms, she's more then happy with the house, her only worry is that her unborn baby is born healthy

"And then.. we could buy an actual house instead of living in different apartments" her husband rambled on, Mei couldn't see the problem that Ren was seeing

"Ren.. this new apartment is perfectly fine, we don't need a big house to be happy" she answered back

"But.. this apartment is still to small for us.. and I think that our child needs space to play around with.. imagine seeing the child in our backgarden, all happy and without a care in the world"

Mei sighed and put one of her hands on her big stomach, "she'll be fine with this house, though we might need to move the chairs away from the balcony"

Ren looked at his wife as she murmured about moving different furniture around, he's eyes slowly going down to her stomach

He's eyes lighting up, he couldn't wait

Screaming could be heard from a hospital room, mei was in the bed with her husband on the left of her, holding onto her hand as she delivers their baby

"Almost there! Just one more big push" one of the doctors said, mei following the doctors words, gave another push

Her Screams coming to a stop as a baby cry was heard, mei leaned back into the bed with tired small, her eyes watering up

The nurse took the crying baby to get clean, Ren looked at his tired wife with tears falling down his face, he couldn't be more proud

(Y/n) giggled as she crawled around their new house, Ren had quickly moved up the ranks with his work, he was now one of the top scientist with a small group that he lead

Becuase of this, Ren brought a family home, the house now consists of three bedroom, one bathroom however, got two toilets, one upstairs and one down

As the home was empty, (Y/n) looked around the massive environment that was now her new home

"Ahh! (Y/n)! Please stop crawling off like that" her mother plead as she picked up her daughter, the said toddler laughed at her mother

Mei smiled and hugged her as Ren was in the doorway carries three large boxes

"Mei! Alittle help please!" He asked as he tumbled around, both the females looked at him

And burst into laugher

A now 6 year old (Y/n) ran around her house, into the backgarden where her father was testing.. something

The curious girl stared up at her father with big bright (E/c) eyes, "daddy! What's that?" She asked, Ren jumped in fright and looked down at (Y/n)

She was looking at different types of equipment that Ren was using, Ren quickly but softly pushed her away from his work

"Careful (N/n), this is very dangerous and you mustn't touch any of my work equipment.. okay?" He asked and the little girl nodded

"But.. what that?" She pointed to a tube, containing a purple liquid, Ren's eyes darkened, "something for co-workers.." he answered, (Y/n) looked up at him and felt his aura.. shift

Thinking he was sad, (Y/n) gave her father a hug, "Okay daddy!"

Ren smiled at her and patted her head, unaware that his wife was leaning against the doorframe, watching the scene unfold infront of her

(Y/n) stood next to her father as he cried next to his wife's grave, her death was very sudden to the two

(Y/N) had to call her father about Mei, she had suddenly collapse onto the floor and had to call an ambulance

By the time Ren got to the hospital and to his wife's room, with (Y/n) standing outside, it was too late

Mei had passed away

(Y/n) had watched her father break down, even now, all of their friends and family had walked inside as it started to rain, almost as if it to, is crying about her mothers death

With only the father and daughter left, the father started to work later into the night but would always be home for dinner, they would always have take away food as Ren can't cook and is scared that his daughter may burn the house down if she started to cook

It's been a couple of years since Mei shota left her family and now, Ren stared down at his lifeless daughter, he was in his laboratory, his hair a mess, his eyes moved frantically, pouring different liquid into different equipment

(Y/n) laid comfortably on the table, not once moving, only her chest, even then, it was hard to tell if she was breathing

Ren, on the other hand, ran around the laboratory, picking up different items, in the progress, making a mess of the room

But he did care, the only thing he cares about is his daughter, who was in the thread of death

Ren breathed deeply, out of breath as he held up a bubbling clear liquid, he quickly ran back to his daughter side and opened her mouth

And pouring the unknown liquid into her system

Unknown to him, a person was quietly watching the man

Apologies for not updating since... ehe

Anyway!

Don't really know what to think about this chapter, tried to do something.. different

But, I will now start to update more so.. that exciting!
