"Her Majesty the Queen and His Highness the Fourth Prince has arrived," a nearby guard announced.
***
*click, clack*
"We greet the moon and star of the kingdom, Her Majesty the Queen and His Highness the Fourth Prince," the entire room said.
"You may rise," said the queen.
Everyone in the room lifted their heads and saw the fourth prince for the first time. Suddenly the room became so quiet you would be able to hear a pin drop. Everyone had their mouths dropped, and their eyes widened.
In front of them, stood a boy with unmatchable grace, and yet the air was heavy as if they were in front of their king during his prime days.
"Is he only one year old?", "he's going to grow up into a beast." many whispers of the likes, were heard in the huge ballroom.
After everyone composed themselves, Louis and Queen Emeline walked over to their seats on a podium.
When they got seated, many of the nobles started crowding over the area to try to talk to the queen and the young prince. Most of the nobles had malicious intent but, of course, Louis wasn't young mentally, and so he was able to deal with all of them appropriately without bringing disgrace to himself and his family.
***
(after most of the nobles had left from the podium)
"His Majesty the King had arrived," announced the guard by the door.
*click, clack*
"We greet the sun of the kingdom, His Majesty the King," greeted all the nobles in attendance.
"You may rise," said the king.
Right after he said that he started walking towards the area where his queen and son were sitting without sparing another glance towards the nobles.
"Happy birthday Lou," he said.
"Thank you, father," Louis responded with a smile on his face.
"Lou?" the queen asked.
"A nickname for Louis, cute right," the king responded.
"Hmph, I wanted to make a nickname for Louis first," the queen said.
Louis watched the interaction of his parents with a small smile on his face though it wasn't the same for the nobles.
"HE CAN SMILE?!?!" was what everyone in the room was thinking. The nobles got two big shocks in 30 minutes.
When the nobles had mostly calmed down, the guard near the door made another shocking announcement.
"Her Highness the first consort, Her Highness the second consort, His Highness the first prince, Her Highness the first princess, Her Highness the second princess, His Highness the second prince, and His Highness the third prince has arrived"
"HUH!?! EVERYONE FROM THE ROYAL FAMILY IS ATTENDING THE BIRTHDAY OF THE YOUNGEST PRINCE??" was roughly the main thought.
They stood frozen for a bit before remembering to greet the rest of the royal family.
"We greet the first and second consort and the stars of the kingdom, His Highness the first prince, Her Highness the first princess, Her Highness the second princess, His Highness the second prince, and His Highness the third prince," said all the nobles.
The first prince and princess acknowledge them with a hum and proceed to walk towards the podium where the king, queen, and youngest prince were sitting.
"Happy birthday Louis! Sorry we're late, we couldn't find good presents for you," said the first princess.
*crack* You can hear all the nobles' smiles cracking when they saw their ice princess smile brightly and speak without her cold voice.
*giggle* "Thank you! I would be happy with anything you give me though," said the youngest prince.

So uhhhhh, gomennn I only wrote a short chapter TT. I wrote this chapter like four days ago but my laptop died before I was able to upload it so this is a late and short chapter and I forgot where I left my charger. Well uh, I don't have much time to continue this chapter so I'll just leave it off here. I'll upload another chapter by next week hopefully as an apology :P.
