"Tanabe Asami..."
I suddenly woke up after the car went drove into a speed bump, I moved my head a little. My eyesight was still blurry. I fluttered my eyes, I realized I was laying down on Kazuha's lap. "Oh? You're awake." Kazuha said. "You've been asleep for the past four hours." I lifted my head up and sat up.
"I didn't really get to sleep properly last night..." I uttered. I opened the window and spoke to Mr. Koichi. "Are we almost there?" Mr. Koichi nodded. "Yes, where do you both want to get off at?" Mr. Koichi asked. "Yaesu Shopping Mall?"
I don't really know any places, so maybe Yaesu Mall will do. I nodded as a response. "Are you sure you can handle being alone? You haven't been out by yourself for 2 years." Mr. Koichi asked. "I can. I won't be alone, Kazuha's here." I said. "Can I trust him though?" Mr. Koichi whispered. "Of course. He's responsible." I smiled.
It's weird... Mr. Koichi is more like my father than my actual father. Maybe it's just because my father isn't really dad material. I was born out of wedlock. My parents didn't expect me to get created. My father never wanted a child.
My mother knew she couldn't handle raising a child but she gave birth to me anyway. This story was told from my nanny — who has passed away now... Of course, she explained it in a more appropriate manner for a child. Now that I grew up, I understand it now. We arrived at Tokyo after another hour.
Mr. Koichi dropped us off, he told us that he'll meet us where he dropped us of when I text him. It was very nerve racking when I saw the sea of people. "Wh... Where do you want to go first?" I asked. Do I sound nervous?
I don't want to make him disappointed, after all, it is his first time seeing the modern world. "Would you like to eat? It's past lunch already and we haven't ate. Surely, you feel famished." Kazuha suggested. "Sure. Where'd you like to eat?" I asked. "How about you pick?" He asked, looking around the place. I don't really have anything in mind... Maybe we can search for a ramen restaurant.
I started walking around, Kazuha followed. Around me were people with smiles plastered on their faces. They seemed happy with their friends, family, loved ones... Why isn't my life like that?
I was walking while in thought, I drifted away from reality for a quick second. Never mind. I found a perfect place to eat, we headed inside, there were quite few people. Maybe it's because this place isn't as popular as other places...

After we ate, we decided that we buy some new clothing that Kazuha likes. We went to a department store with not too many people, since I preferred it. While I was flicking through the clothing, Kazuha was changing into one of the outfits I asked him to wear.
Then, someone shouted my name. "Aki!!" I turned my head. It's her... "Tanabe Asami..." I muttered. Tanabe Asami is one of the people that helped me in the time when my mother passed.
