In the morning, Miranda woke up and sighed in contentment. She looked at her clock and smiled. It was eight o'clock, meaning she would wake up Pierce. She felt way too excited for a witch waking up a shifter from deep sleep. She walked down the hall, her feet freezing on the cold hardwood. She smiled and opened the door as silently as possible "Wake up, breakfast in ten." She heard no response and opened it further. She walked in and felt her nose start to bleed. He was lying shirtless, on top on the blankets. He had a beautifully carved body that made her heart race drastically. She spoke a bit louder "It's time to get up Pierce." She saw him stir and felt herself start blushing as bright as dawn as he flipped onto his back and started waking. He was so beautiful. She scurried out and closed the door as she darted into the kitchen to start some food. She had just finished the last of the toast when he came out. His hair was messy, and cute in a way she couldn't explain, and he was wearing an old white t-shirt. His jeans he had on were lightly torn and he had a sleepy smile on his face "Good morning." She felt her heart thudding violently as he sat at the kitchen table. She brought the food in, which included sausage, eggs, toast, jelly, cinnamon rolls, and some orange juice. The minute she put it down, he thanked her and started eating. He was much more polite than the wolf shifters. She ate her small portion before she got up. He had finished his as well and walked over to her "So, what chores do I have ?" He said, a small grin on his face. She felt the reality of what he had asked hit her. She had forgotten, damn her memory ! She coughed "Uh, chop wood, clean and dust the house I guess." He nodded and immediately set to work.
A few hours later, he was done. The house was sparkling, there was a neat stack of firewood next to the fire place, and several older books and such had been revived with his cleaning. She almost dropped her arm full of groceries. She smiled "You definitely cleaned !" He nodded "And got some wood." He grinned and grabbed her groceries, sorting them between cabinets, and the freezer. She watched for a bit before smiling even brighter.
The stars were shining brightly, and the sky was dark. But, a blood colored moon was shining brightly, illuminating the sky. Several powerful, and huge wolves were all roaming and sniffing, checking for intruders. They suddenly heard a small disturbance and a fox appeared from a bush. His fur was shining silver, with some black and hidden rays of brown disappearing. His eyes were amber, and glowing brightly. The wolves recognized the scent and bounded over to the beautiful silver fox. They sniffed,a and then allowed him to pass by to the stream. A huge alpha appeared next to him, startling him. It was Aaron, the might of Traft. He looked down at Pierce, who he had to admit was very handsome, even when in his beastly form. Aaron's large pelt of pure black, seemed to mirror the darkness of night, his eyes being the moon. They circled for a minute, just being friendly before Pierce dipped his head in respect and darted into the deep forests nearby. He watched after him, watching as the last of his dark fur disappeared.
