Pierce felt himself wandering a forest. The ground beneath him crunched, and the rays of sun were shining softly. He smiled, letting the warmth fill him to the brim. He started running, and felt the animal inside wag it's tail with glee. He grinned like a child as he jumped over logs, and laughed as he chased rabbits. He suddenly stopped. His heart rate quickened. There was a cabin. A large, blood stained cabin, and all he could manage to say in a quiet whisper, was "Home."

Miranda looked over at Pierce's stilled body, and frowned. He seemed so peaceful, but she could feel his magic shifting in a strange way. She walked over, and placed a hand on his arm "Wake up."
Pierce felt his feet dragging him towards the cabin, and watched in horror as the door opened. He braced himself, but suddenly saw he was in a meadow, full of fireflies. He smiled in relief and watched them buzz quietly. Suddenly, the sun came up, blinding him until he felt himself awaken.
Miranda jumped back as Pierce's body jerked forward, and started moving. She grabbed his arm, quickly using magic to wake him up. He opened his eyes, gasping loudly to bring in air. She smiled and brushed some hair out of his face "Hey." He looked up at her, exhausted eyes closing "Hey."
