I woke up due to the chatter and clanking of pots and pans in the kitchen.

Whoever was in the kitchen is so not trying to be quite at all. I mean like its Sunday! I should be waking up very late, not at 11am!

It's okay though. If they're making food then I get to eat and I'll be a happy girl.

I go to the washroom, brush my teeth and put my hair up in a messy bun. I leave and enter my walk-in-closet. I change out of my pyjamas and into a black skater skirt, black stockings, a white tank top with a light pink cardigan over it and put on a pair of black toms.

I leave my room and go into the kitchen. I see my dad, Uncle Daniel, Mark, Alex and Ben around the counter, sitting on the stools, while my mom, Aunt fee, Riley, Clara and Vanessa all cooking brunch.

"Good morning!" I say to tall of them.

"Morning, Sky!" They all chorus.

I smile and they tell me that my cousins and brothers are in the living room. I nod and go into the living room where I see them all talking with each other and playing PS3.

I sit beside Connor and take the white PS3 controller out of his hands.

"Hey! Skyy." He whines.

"Don't whine, you big baby." I tease.

"Hey, Sky?" Sara's voice asks.

I turn to look at her and see her blue eyes staring at me. She tucks a piece of brown hair behind her ear and smiles.

"Yeah?" I ask.

"I just wanted to ask if when I start school tomorrow that.. Maybe I could eat lunch with you guys..?" She says nervously.

I don't know why she's nervous. Maybe it's because she's starting a new school? But she shouldn't be nervous asking me this. I mean, I am her cousin and I care about her a lot.

"Of course! You didn't have to ask." I say warmly.

The bell rings and Connor gets up saying that he'll answer the door. He was taking awhile so I get up and head towards the door.

I see him leaning against the door frame with his arms crossed. I can't see the person on the other side of the door because Connor was blocking them.

"Why won't you let me see her?" A familiar voice asked.

"Maybe because I won't let you touch a single hair on her. Why do you even want to see her?" Connor said.

"Who even are you?" The person spat.

"Why does it matter? What if I'm her boyfriend?"

Oh, Connor. Why do you have to be so protective?

I heard the person inhale and exhale. They're getting mad. I should really stop this, but I don't feel like it.

"Just. Let. Me. See. Her."

I decide to do the good thing and walk up behind Connor. I tap his shoulder and he turns around to face me. He smiles and blocks the person.

"Oh, hey, Sky." He rubs the back of his neck.

"Connor, move." I say.

He moves to the side and I see Talon. I smile at his gimpy face and his face lights up.

"Talon!" I say and run up to him, tackling him in a hug.

"Skylar." He says with a chuckle. He wraps his arms around me and I look up at him.

"You know him?" Connor asks behind me.

I let go of Talon, but he keeps a protective arm around my waist. I face Connor and grin at his confused face.

"Of course, I do. He's my mate. Talon, meet Connor, my obnoxious cousin. Connor, meet Talon, my mate." I introduce them.

Connors eyes held surprise and he sticks his hand out for Talon to shake. They shake hands then I invite Talon in to meet the family.

We see Mason in the hallway and he looks at me then at Talon.

"Hello, Sky, Vamp." He nods at us.

"Mason, this is Talon." I say.

I feel Talons hand brush mine before he entwines them.

"Why is he here?" He asks curiously.

"He's my mate," I smile at his stunned face. "Talon, meet my older brother, Mason. Mason, meet my mate, Talon."

They say a greeting before I enter the kitchen with Talon, our hands entwined.

The adults turn to look at us then our hands. Uncle Daniel raises his eyebrow before asking who he was.

This time I didn't answer.

"Good morning. I'm Talon and I am Skylar's mate. It's nice to meet you all." Talon says politely.

They all greet him and I bring him into the living room. My cousins and brothers just look at Talon. The only people in this group that knows who Talon is, is only Amanda, Jason, Mason and Connor.

I introduce them to Talon and they seem to get along. He sits on a sofa and pulls me down to sit on his lap. I tuck my head on the crook of his neck and smile.

The boys ask Talon if he wants to play and he agrees. He is passed a controller and they all start playing and laughing. I love this sight.

I'm glad he's getting along with my family.

We are later called for brunch and my mom asks Talon if he would join us. He agrees and sits beside me on the dinning table.

We all eat and chat. It was nice.

I drag Talon to the back yard after brunch. I sit him down on a chair and sit on his lap.

"So, what brought you here? To my place, I mean." I say.

"I don't know. I just wanted to see you." He says.

I smile at him and he returns the smile. He hold my hips and leans in. When our noses are touching I close my eyes.

I can feel his breathe on my lips and desperately want his lips on mine.
Finally, he presses his lips against mine and our lips move in sync.

Somehow, during the kiss I straddled him. There we were, kissing our faces off, me straddling him with his hands placed on my hips. It was pure bliss.

This is officially our second kiss together. The shocks that surrounded me were just amazing.

My wolf wanted more. Heck, even I wanted more, but I just think it's too soon.

We pull away and the only thing I can hear is our hard breathing. I open my eyes and look into his.

"That was.." He breathes.

"I know." I agree.

Sort of just a filler. I haven't updated in weeks. I just felt like I should.

Exams are in a week and then I'll have all the summer to continue updating. I don't know when the next time I'll update will be, but hopefully it's soon.

I think I'm going to include some new characters next chappie.
