Today is the day I meet Talons family. Oh my skittles! I'm so nervous.

Thank god I have no homework.

I've got a few hours until Talon comes to pick me up. Soo.... I might as well eat skittles.

"I'm in the mood for skittles." I say to myself.

I run down the stairs and walk down the halls passing doors and see the particular door I was looking for.

I stop in my tracks and stare at the door with a heated gaze.

No, no, no.

I open the door wider and start walking down the stairs to the basement.

"No skittles, no happy Skylar." I mumble over and over again.

When I reach the end of the stairs in mumbling rapidly and just focusing on the cabinet filled with my secret stash of skittles. You know what I see? I see that it's FREAKING OPEN!

I put a lock on that cabinet and I swear everyone knew not to open it, but you know the worst part? THE LOCK WAS BROKEN OFF!

I open the cabinet and find it empty. EMPTY!

I stare at the empty cabinet and mumble things.

I felt someone's hands on my shoulder, shaking me.

"Sky, what's wrong with you? You're scaring me." Jason says loudly.

I turn around slowly to look at him dead in the eye.

"SOMEONE ATE MY SKITTLES!!" I shout really loud.

Who would be so stupid to even touch my skittles? Then realization hits me in the face, really hard.

"CONNOR! YOU ARE SO DEAD!"

I decided to show the family James. We enter Skylar's house and I see Skylar come down the stairs and then disappears in the hall.

I shrug and decide to just leave her. She's probably going to get skittles. Typical Sky.

I take hold of James' hand and lead him into the living room.

I see my parents, uncles, aunts and cousins. I see their noses sniff the air and they turn their heads quickly to the side where Jason and I are standing.

I smile with a blush and move closer to James. They seem to see this small action and all get up.

"Amanda, honey. Who is this?" My dad speaks up with his hard, gruff voice.

"Guys, meet James, my mate." I say.

Smiles light up in their faces, but one of their faces don't.

It was Adams.

He walks up to us and eyes James while James eyes him.

Oh, dear gummy bear God. Precious gummy bears don't let a fight start.

"James, is it?" Adam speaks up, finally.

"Yes. Who are you?" James says.

Adam smiles and says, "why, I am Adam, Amanda's older brother."

"It's nice to meet you, Adam." James says politely.

Awe. James is soo nice. Ahh! My heart hurts. He's just so adorable. Now, if I said that out loud then he wouldn't like being called adorable.

My dad places a hand on Adams chest for him to back off. Adam huffs and takes two steps back. My dad looks James dead in the eye.

"I will tell you something on the behalf of all of us. The same thing we told Talon, hurt her and you'll be castrated." dad says.
