You swatted my heart away as if it were a fly
Never did I cry
It was painful to face an infinite abyss
Never did you admit you would be lost without me or amiss This is not my house
I remained quiet as an itsy bitsy shrew mouse
I should have left long ago
I grew too attached; I know...
Time flies when you think too much You were my crutch
I never did stand up to the hushing it began with infinite blushing
Now we are no more
Vacuuming your worries has become a chore
I will forever feel my heart locked in a jailbird cell
There was one time you tried to call but I missed my notification bell
I called back
Your failure to answer spiked my mind on a giant thumbtack
You made everything pause
With an unjust cause
You swatted my heart away as if it were a fly
Never did I cry
