"Wait what?" I asked concerned.

"You were never with us were you? What part of keeping watch over those fools did you not understand?" He snapped back at me.

"Look I can explain." I responded.

"Sure, you can always explain can't you, then explain that nonsense that just happened out there, I saw you two changing the mountain somehow, what is that your evil hideout?" He questioned as he was grabbing his and Siennas stuff.

Sienna had awoken from Brandon's shouting and began to respond to him, "Brandon stop, listen to him, it will make sense trust me, right Jackson?"

"Yeah, Brandon, Mark showed us some files that showed that this whole world is some sort of simulation, that man has discovered a way to manipulate the world, and he was demonstrating it to me by creating a path down the mountain." I explained.

"Yeah right, like I'm gonna believe we live in some simulation."

"Well, don't you find it odd you don't remember anything from before you appeared here, this is all fake, we were only able to find you in the first place because something happened with the system!" I shouted at him.

"That isn't right, he's lieing, right Sienna?" He asked looking for some form of assurance.

"No, Brandon, it's the truth, this is all fake, and we need to find some way out of here." She told him.

Brandon just slumped down on the couch, now having learned that everything he has been going through has all been some digital world, "Is there even a reason to fight for our survival then, what happens if we die, is that how we get out?"

"I don't know, but what I do know, is we need to get back to Mark and Oxy, there has to be a way out." I answered.

"Oxy? She's okay?" He asked seemingly surprised.

"Yes, she has been working with Mark since she disappeared." Sienna said as she began to stand up.

"And Sarah? What about her? Is she okay?" Brandon began to sound worried.

"Sarah is, well, she is corrupted by something that Mark and Oxy have been working towards finding a way to fix." I explained.

"She is the shadow person who attacked us before." Sienna finished what I was saying.

"Oh my God, well then fine, we can use that guys magic tunnel, I want to speak with Mark, I want to save Saraj if we can." Brandon said and began to walk over to Victor.

"Hey Victor, were ready, let's just go through that tunnel you just made, and yes, I saw everything." I heard Brandon say.

"Very well, let us get moving." Victor said, he, Brandon, and Sam began to walk over to the door where they met up with Sienna and I.

"So you all are ready to go?" Victor asks.

Me and Sienna both nodded and we all began to walk out to the tunnel.

I was still dumbfounded by the fact I had just met Void, and it seemed to show because as we were walking down the tunnel he pulled me aside and told me, "You should wipe that look off your face before you draw to much attention, don't wanna lose my secret yet do I." He asked rhetorically.

"Understood, I'm sorry." I said and walked up to catch up to my group.

We all walked in silence for a while down this spiraling tunnel until eventually we reach another large gate.

"This it?" I asked.

"Yes, go ahead and open it, it should be the base of the mountain." Sam answered.

Sienna used large vines to push the doors open while we all stood at a distance so that if it was a trap we would probably be far enough back to be safe.

Once the gates opened the tunnel was filled with a bright blinding light, when our eyes adjusted we saw the woods that were at the base of the mountain, as well as we saw Mark and Oxy standing outside as though they were inspecting the large door.

"Oh thank god you guys are okay!" Todd shouted as he ran up to us and started to check us over for injuries.

"We're fine Mark, this lady Sam healed us with her gem." Sienna told him.

"Oh, you guys even managed to meet some new friends too, incredible." He said as he began to back away.

Oxy had come in after Mark so now we were all just standing in the end of the tunnel.

"My name is Victor nice to meet you, and this is my partner Samantha, or Sam for short." Victor answered.

"I'm Mark, I'm a scientist of sorts."

"Hey, so am I, we need to discuss this further another time but first we should get somewhere safe." Victor replied.

"Alright, I've got a lab not to far from here, follow me." Mark said and we all began to follow as he led the way.

Once we reached the lab again it was like a breath of fresh air, we finally reached a familiar place.

"So, Mark, have you noticed anything particularly off about the world we live in?" Victir asked as we walked inside.

"No, why?"

"Could I speak with you alone for a moment?" Victor requested, gaining Brandon's concern but me and Sienna got him to walk away.

Mark nodded and the two of them walked back outside to talk.

The five of us left in the lab were just standing around talking for a moment when suddenly a large fire burst through a wall of the building and I saw Sarah and I could only assume Zachary standing there.

"It's been a while." Sarah said and I noticed two shadow orbs floating behind her, one holding Mark, and the other holding Victor, however, I also saw that Sarah was holding something, the tablet Victor used to manipulate the simulation and get us off of the mountain.

We all stepped back, I drew my shield as all the other people were also seemingly getting ready for a fight.

"Didn't think we could beat the one with all the power did you?" Zachary asked. "And yet you still believe any of you have what it takes to stop us, pathetic."

"What do you want with us?" I questioned. "We have done nothing to you!"

"Don't you get it." Sarah said as several more shadow orbs formed trapping everyone but me. "You are the only threat to my plans, what I want is to see you die. Zachary, take this, increase my power as high as you can and get out of here, I wouldn't want to risk hurting you." She handed Zachary the tablet device

He began to walk away while fiddling with it, suddenly a large hole formed under me causing the whole lab to collapse into it along with Sarah and I.
