...I woke up, looking around to spot the clock I never used. I curled myself into a ball for warmth. I forgot how annoying it was having Swiss over since my room would just lose its warmth somehow. I turned around, noticing Swiss sleeping with his back turned to me. I moved closer to him, wrapping my arms around him.

"You really like to use your height to your advantage huh?" Swiss chuckled, causing me to jump a little. "Yes I'm awake" he laughed, turning towards me "I always wake up early" he sighed "horrible habit"

"You can go back to sleep y'know" I giggled.

"No way, I'm not going to be able to" he chuckled. "Plus if I do it won't be long"

"Well I'm going to sleep for a few more hours" I yawned.

"I don't understand how you can have such a warm room, yet you're still cold?" He laughed.

"My room isn't the right temperature" I almost shivered. "It has to be perfect or else I will most likely cry"

"You're so needy" Swiss teased.

"My room is only like this whenever you sleep over!" I defended myself, sitting up. Swiss hugged my waist, once more acting like a cat with abandonment issues. "Why do you always do this?"

"You're warm" he mumbled "I don't understand how you're cold"

"Because that's not how us fire ghouls and ghuleh work" I chuckled "now can I go?"

"You don't have anywhere to be this early" Swiss yawned "band practice isn't till later today anyways"

"I want to go eat breakfast?" I tried to make up an excuse.

"I'm not getting up yet AND I doubt anyone has made anything for us ghouls to eat yet" he argued.

"You can be so clingy yknow" I laughed.

"Yeah I know but you're just so warm" he said, tightening his grip.

"You have such a strong grip" I said, trying to loosen his grip, hearing light snoring. "Much for not being able to sleep"

Swiss has fallen asleep again, his arms wrapped around me tightly. I knew he could fall asleep like this, since I had known him since we were little, but that grip he'd have me in was almost deadly. Swiss had gotten used to sleeping like this whenever he slept over too.

He used to do it when we were little but the habit came back a few years back. He barely even notices he fell asleep once he wakes back up.
I rested my head on Swiss' head, since he still had a hold of my waist, making it impossible to move.

I listened to his light and shallow breathing, staring out of the window in my room. The moon was still very bright in the sky, shining its beautiful silver light into the many windows of the abbey.

I stared at Swiss' calm body, noticing how genuinely tired he looked. He must've been serious when he said it was a horrible habit.. and I guess it had gotten worse. Either that or he hadn't slept at all these past few days.
The thought of that made me sad, knowing that if I were to leave, he'd immediately wake up.

I looked over at my night table, opening the drawer, finding my notebook. I grabbed it, opening a blank page, taking my pen out of the spine of the notebook. I started writing out some names and their information, scanning it to make sure it was factual from what I had observed.
