"Babe! Get up" you said shaking your boyfriend jakes arm. "Jake get up right now we are going to be late" you said more serious than last time. Jakes eyes finally open and he said in his raspy morning voice "we will be fine." As much as you loved Jake and didn't want to get out of bed either you had to. Jake was meeting your family for the first time for brunch.
After a couple more minutes of bothering him he finally got out of bed.
While Jake was picking out what to were, you text your mom saying you guys might be a little late. You brush your teeth and finish doing your hair and Jake does the same.
"You ready baby" Jake says with still a hint of morning voice. "Yes let's go" you grabbed the keys and tossed them to Jake. Y'all got in the car and left to go to the restaurant.
Jake told you on the way that he was nervous but you reassured him that everything with go smoothly.

You walk inside the smaller local restaurant and could see you parents sitting down at a table in the corner. You guys walk over there and your mom and dad give you a big hug. You mom doesn't even think twice before giving Jake a hug. Your dad gives Jake a handshake and a smile.
We order and everything goes well.

Once everyone is done eating we all head out and Jake says "I think it well" with a big smile on his face. I giggled back and said "I knew it would." He gave me a kiss on the cheek and we drove back home.
