"Mitch is in the hospital..."

It was so silent for a moment as everyone was taking in the news.

"W-w-what happened?" Scott said on the verge of tears.

"Car accident...someone ran a stop sign and hit his side. It's pretty bad." Kevin said, trying to keep his emotions in check.

Kirstie was an absolute mess. "WHY?? WE NEED TO GO NOWW!!" she cried

Avi was just dumbfounded. Is this another test? Why Mitch? What if he would've went instead of Mitch? All these thoughts were popping in his head annoyingly.

"Let's go then, I'll drive," Kevin said, the only stable one.

They all piled in the car while Avi called Home Free. He knew they were all in different areas at their homes but he knew they wanted to know. He first called Tim and Tim relayed the message to everyone else.

They all went to the hospital Mitch is in and Kevin asked for his room number but they wouldn't give it to him.

"He's in surgery at the moment. I'll let y'all see him afterwards though and the doctor will tell you what happened. All I'm telling you is that....it's not looking good.

Kevin just nods and sits down. All of them being a teary mess now.

Its been hours and absolutely nothing. The hospital was nice enough to let them stay at the hospital.

Scott couldn't sleep. He kept thinking at the words he should've said. I love you. Such simple words that carry so much impact and has the opportunity to change everything.

He wouldn't know what to do without Mitch. Mitch was his rock, his muse, his everything. But Scott decided to be strong, for him.

Everyone had a hard time falling asleep but eventually did. Suddenly they were awakened by familiar voices.

"Tim and Chance?"
