A Promise Unforgotten

Ryan's Touching Resolve

"Oh! So you'll do it?" I asked, surprise he was able to come up with a decision that quickly. "Well, yeah. I mean, it's scary, but I want to tell her how I feel. I might not get he chance to make a move soon. So I'll tell her how I feel." Ryan replied, confidently "Well okay, It's your decision, so I won't argue with that." I replied as I got off from the couch and walked out of his house. Karl quickly followed me as I went to go to the group.

As we walked outside, We saw Isabella, Angel, Drake, and Will from afar, just sitting down in a bench at the park. "Is that them?" Ryan asked, squirming to see if they were really there. "Well, I'm not sure, but there's a big chance it's them. Okay....So if you're going to confess how you feel to Sheena, then you two will need to be alone. No one else. It should be where no one will interfere." I replied as I was begining to explain our plan.

"Okay, first, we walk to them and say 'Hi' or whatever. Then, you ask if you and Isabella could talk to each other alone, without anyone interfering or sneaking up on you guys. Then, when you're completely alone...Tell her how you feel. Oh...And one more thing.." I explained as I was giving him some 'tips' to help him.

"Ryan.....Just be yourself. And don't hide anything from her, okay? Tell her the truth to all the questions she asks. And tell her how you truly feel. Everything. Don't be afraid. Tell her to listen to everything before she replies. Never lie about who you are because on day, she'll eventually find out the truth. And if you tell her the truth, then she'll be able to feel that you trust her." I explained carefully. Hoping for the best.

"Okay, I got it. Thanks Kyle...This really means a lot." Ryan said, slightly smiling because of my advice. "Oh, and don't worry if she says to give her time to think about it. It doesn't exactly mean that she doesn't like you. So don't go and jump into conclusions directly, okay? Cause sometimes, when she says that, then there's a chance she feels the same way for you, but all of this was so sudden so she needs time to sink it into her system. She might be thinking about this for two to three days, so don't rush things, okay?" I explained, as I was making sure to include every single detail of what might happen.

"Oh yeah...One tiny little part.. Always remember to never loose your cool and start spazzing out or anything. Don't say anything stupid and random, just relax. It's not like she's going to run away after you said that. You're her friend too, so it makes it much more easier." I said, as he was trying very hard to remember everything I have just explained to him.

"Alright....Let's get this over with.." Ryan said, nervously. "Okay, let's go." We then walked towards the park and we eventually saw them, just joking around and everything. We walked to them and started out our plan. "Ryan, follow my lead." I calmly said, as we both walked up to them. "Hey guys!!! Sorry it took so long! Ryan and I had snacks and we got carried away with T.V. and everything. Right Ryan?" I asked as I lightly elbowed him to follow my lead.

"Oh, yeah. It was really fun. We should all do that together sometime. hahaha!" Ryan said, nervous as ever. "Ryan? are you okay? You rarely laugh when you explain things. That only means you're hiding something. What's up?" Drake said, curious and suspicious of Ryan.

"Nothing actually, I was just in a really good mood today." Ryan calmly replied. "Oh, why are you in such a good mood then Ryan?" Will asked, becoming curious as well. "It's nothing...really.." Ryan replied. "Anyway, Ryan has something to tell Isabella." I explained. "Oh? What is it?" Isabella asked, very curious since she might be the reason for all this.

"Yeah, but it's private.. Can you come with me alone, Isabela?" Ryan asked, slightly blushing. Luckily, no one noticed. "Yeah sure." Isabella replied. They both went somewhere to be alone. Will, and Drake tried to follow them but I stopped them, giving them the look that it's very important for him. Angel came up to me and asked if Ryan was going to "confirm" something. I simply nodded and she got the whole idea.

She didn't tell Drake and Will though, I'm guessing she knew it was a secret.

RYAN's P.O.V.

I was walking down with the love of my life right beside me. My heart was beating twice as fast, I was perspiring, and I was nervous. Just looking at her almost made me forget everything. We stopped by the lake and we were alone. We sat down in the bench, not too far nor too close to the lake. I started to explain to her.

"Sheena, There's something I've always wanted to tell you, ever since the day I first got to know you as a friend.." Ryan said to Isabella, nervous. "Okay, I'm listening.." Isabella replied, having a thought that Ryan might be telling her about his feelings for her, but she didn't mind and let him continue.

"Please don't say anything unless I say I'm done explaining everything. Okay?" I asked, she simply nodded. "Well....I've started to feel something for you...I mean, every time I see you, I have this strange, warm and fuzzy feeling. I always thought of you differently from the rest. And you're special to me. You mean my whole life now. The more time I spend with you, the more I feel happy, and warm. You are one of the reasons why I am, who I am."

Isabella was just nodding, and slightly blushing from the words I used to describe how I felt. "You are the most beautiful girl I've ever laid my eyes on. You were, and always will be, the best in my eyes. No matter how much mistakes you make, and no matter how much you'll hurt me... I'm prepared to bear all this...For you, and only you." I explained, as I was saying this from the bottom of my heart. "I don't care if you don't feel the same way for me. All I want is for you to be happy. No one will ever compare to you, not to me they don't." I said with a smile on my face.

Isabella was clearly touched from my words. It came from the bottom of my heart. "Okay, you can talk now, Isabella..." Karl said, hoping Isabella wouldn't put him down too much..

"Ryan.....That was all so sweet!!!" Sheena said, blushing and happy. "But....please give me time, okay? I need to think about this. And thanks for telling me and for being honest with me. Let's get back, okay?" Isabella replied, with a faint smile.

"Yeah sure, let's get back. And take as much time as you need. Oh! by-the-way, don't tell anyone about this, okay?" Isabella replied, nervous of what might happen. "Don't worry Ryan....I was planning to keep it just between the two of us...excluding Kyle of course." Isabella replied, and winked.

KYLE'S P.O.V.

I was sitting down, hoping that things were going well, as the time passed, we saw Sheena and Karl coming back. Karl was smiling, which most probably means it went well, and we caught Sheena smiling and blushing as well. "Good job Ryan.." I thought as I went to approach them.

"Hey guys! Kyle! It went well. I'll explain everything later, when we're alone." Ryan said, smiling from what has happened. "Hey, wait a minute! What happened?!?!" Will and Drake chorused.

"It's a secret! hahaha!!!" Ryan, Isabella , Angel and I chorused, and laughed.

Things were going good. Drake and Will eventually gave up and switched subjects. We all had to go home eventually. So we went on our separate ways back to our homes. As I ate my dinner, took a half bath, and got ready for sleep, I was thinking of Kate, and remembered everything we did together... "Kate, I'll spend the whole day with you tomorrow... I promise.." I thought and said to myself as I went to bed, and slept.
