A Promise Unforgotten

Will's Return

So as I went out to Kate's apartment, things were going really well. Once I arrived, she was already there, as if she was expecting me to come. She was just there, smiling. It made my day to see someone you love to smile that big. It was silly, and a really sweet kind of smile too.

As I approached her, she stood up from where she was sitting, and approached me as well. Kate and I were walking towards each other. Hoping we would spend a lot of time together. When Kate and I were facing each other. I grabbed hold of her waist lightly, and lightly pulled her closer to me. I look at her eyes, then down at her lips. I bit my lower lip, and kissed her passionately. After I pulled from the kiss, we were both blushing madly.

I hugged her and whispered to her in a sweet tone "I love you Kate.." I kissed her cheek lovingly, and she was as red as a tomatoe. Afterwards, we went to take a seat, and went on with out talk. We spent the whole afternoon talking to each other, having fun, and exchanging secrets. After we had our last kiss, we waved each other goodbye, and I went back home.

We had a lot of time together. And it was rather a wonderful time. It was definitely worth spending my time. As long as she's with me, my life is already perfect. I have good grades, I have a good reputation in my social life, I have wonderful friends and families. And most of all, I have the perfect girlfriend.

"Today's been pretty amazing. I wonder how this day could get any better." I said to myself as my day has been really fun so far. "Why yes, yes it can!" A familiar voice answered. "Is...Is that Will?" I asked, hoping he has returned from his long trip from his family to come back here. "The one and only!" Will said as he came up to me with a huge smile "HEY!!!! You've been gone for so long! We've all missed you!! I mean...You're like our group comedian!!!" I said as I walked up to him to catch up with  what's been happening lately.

"Well, don't think of me as 'just' a group comedian. I mean, you make it sound like I'm only here to entertain you guys!" Will said as he started to think if we really do like him for who he is and not his jokes alone.

"Well, of course we miss you man! Its just that you're really fun to be with!" I said as I began to explain to him what's been happening lately. We were both walking, talking, and just having fun. I've really missed him. And he's really missed us! It's good to know that he's back and is okay.

"Okay, I gotta get going Kyle. I gotta visit the others to let them know I'm here too. So, I'll see you around soon!" Will said as he went to the rest of the group's house.

"Yeah sure, take care!" I replied as I went back home as well. I was really tired today. A lot has happened and things really did get better. And I realized, it was almost time to end the day. So I ate my dinner, reviewed my books for school, and went back to sleep.

"This has been one of the best days I have ever experienced!!" I thought, and with that, I went to sleep.
