Absentis-
“You’ll pay for that.”
I started floating into the air while Theros talked to his dying mother.
White tendrils floated around me and I knew my eyes were glowing.
I smiled.
“Get out of here.”
The king sneered at me.
“Your not allowed to kill me. You’d destroy the prophecy.”
I growled and picked him up using my magic.
“You think I care? I loved her. She’s dead. You killed her. The prophecy didn’t matter, to begin with, if this is what destiny is.”
I saw fear flash across the king’s features.
“You’re a disgrace to your kind. Full blood in love with a half-blood demon? You will never be seen as an equal to anyone.” he continued he smirked at me.
“Maybe I won’t ever be equal to anyone else. But she saw me as an equal. As a human. That’s good enough for me.”
Suddenly red tendrils surrounded the king and they placed him on the ground.
Theros had helped Istoria up.
She smiled at me. Then revealed the arrow still sticking out of her.
“What was that Absentis?”
I smiled at her and then landed on the ground next to her.
“Ready kid?”
Theros smiled at his mother.
He nodded and suddenly he summoned his sword and handed Poza Caligo’s old dagger.
“Go help the prisoners. Stay safe kiddo!” she yelled after Theros.
Then she pulled the arrow out from her chest and the wound began closing immediately.
She looked at her hand. Covered in ink-black blood.
She laughed a bit.
“Certainly powerful.”
I smiled at her.
“Wanna deal with this Skyla?” she asked me smiling. Her full demon form returning.
She licked her lips and I noticed her wings had holes in them. She had large black talons.
“Man I guess we’re gonna have to kill him huh?” she asked walking closer to the elderly king.
The king looked at us as I summoned my sword and she summoned the sword I had used to get Dream out of her mind.
“Please- my son” the king’s eyes teared up as I placed my sword on his throat.
“Wait.” Istoria said holding her hand up to implicate stopping.
I placed my sword at my side.
