Asher's Story: RWBY volume 6

E.P. 4 Pyrrha

The camera opens up to Asher leaning on Weiss shoulder, sleeping. He has penny's sword on his lap and Pyrrha's necklace in his right hand. Maira just got done finishing her story.

Maria:"But I wasn't. I went into hiding soon after."

Qrow:"I can't believe it. You... you're the Grimm Reaper. You were a legend. And you just disappeared."

Oscar:"How exactly does a legend just disappear?"

Qrow:"You never used your name. Never showed your face. Lots of us thought you were just layin' low. Eventually, we came to accept that you were probably dead. But the stories about you, I based my weapon off of yours. I wanted to be as good as the Grimm Reaper."

Simmons:"Cool."

Maria:"Well, I'm nothing but a disappointment. So you're well on your way."

Blake:"How can you say that?"

Maria:"Child, a Huntress is supposed to protect others to the bitter end. But after I lost my eyes, I only ever looked after myself. Even after my surgery, I was too afraid to fight, afraid someone would find me again, finish what the others started. You shouldn't aspire to be like me, especially when some of you are clearly stronger already."

Weiss looks to sleeping Asher and grabs his right hand.

Maria:"It's comforting seeing that your generation seems up to the task of inheriting this world. I'm just sorry I didn't do more to leave it in better shape."

Ruby:"Well, maybe you can do something now. Teach me and Asher to use our powers the way you did."

Suddenly Ruby's scroll starts to beep. She gets it out. Jaune is calling.

Ruby:*Gasps* "It's Jaune."

Yang stops the bike.

Weiss:"How?"

Ruby answers her scroll.

Ruby:"Hello?"

Jaune:*On scroll.*"Ruby" *He laughs.* "Thank you! I've been checking my Scroll for your signal since we made it to the city."

Ruby:"The city? Wait." *She checks her Scroll singal and they look ahead to see the top of Argus City.*

Yang drives them forward and she stops on top of the hill overlooking the City.

Yang:"Ladies and gentlemen we have arrived in Argus."

Grif:"Finally out of the cold."

A little bit of Sun shines on Asher's eye waking him up and he sees the city.

Asher:"Wow. You did it Ruby."

Ruby goes up to Asher and grabs his right hand.

Ruby:"We did it."

Asher:"Almost there."

Ruby:"Almost there."

Later. Yang is locking her bike up in a garage. Asher is looking around.

Asher:"So far from home." *He looks to he robot hand which is now holding the necklace.* "We're almost done." *He looks up to the sun and he feels the warmth on his face.*

Then he hears a familiar voice in the crow.

Nora:"Cute boy Oz!" *She tackles him.* "Oh, come here!"

The rest of JNR come over. Asher stand off to the side watching.

Ren:"Are you all okay?" *He hugs Yang.* "We were so worried."
