Chapter 1 - meeting you

*Steph POV*

I was playing around in the record store jamming to music while keeping an eye on my job. I was trying to find a new song to get into, but this old record store has only 1970's-1990's-early 2000's. Maybe I could order a few records online.
I look up at my clock and realize it was closing time, on Sunday's I close at noon because the town sorta just hangs out and has a day off. After turning everything off I get a call, I pull out my phone to see the name "Gabe" appear. I answer
"Hey Gabe, what's up?" I ask
"Hey Steph, Ryan with you?" He asks
"No, he stopped by earlier to pick up another nature disc but he's not here now, why?" I ask
"I'll just call him after, mind meeting me by Charlottes shop?" He asks
"Sure, I'll meet you there after I finish closing up" I reply
"Awesome, see you soon" he says and hangs up.
I start turning lights off and finally grabbed the keys to lock the door. I also remembered to grab my beanie since I don't usually go anywhere without one. I put it on and locked the front door.
Apparently I was slow enough to have Ryan beat me there, I walk across and meet up with the dorks.
"So... why are we meeting here?" Ryan asks
"Well.. I.." Gabe was nervous about something.
"Spit it out dude, something happening?" I ask
"You guys remember me mentioning my sister right?" He asks
"Plenty of times" Ryan says
"Well, she's coming today, and I thought I could introduce my two best friends to her to kinda... welcome her?" Gabe says
"Wait, she's coming today?" Ryan asks
"Yea, I told her to meet me by the bridge" he says looking at his watch. "Crap! She could be there by now!" He says grabbing both mine and Ryan's hands and dragged us to the bridge.
As we got there, a bus pulled up. If I remember correctly, Gabe said she was about 2 years younger than him, or was it 3? Doesn't matter. I just hope she isn't weird like most people in this small town. The bus door opens and I see what looks to be a shorter, short Raven haired girl walk down the steps. She was wearing a blue Jean jacket with a hoodie underneath. As she got off I saw as she sorta pushed one side of her hair back out of her face.
"Alex!" Gabe says sorta jogging over giving her a big hug. THIS was Gabe's sister?
"It's been so long since I've seen you" he says bear hugging her
"Is squeezing my ribs apart of hugging a long lost sister" she says chuckling.
"I'm sorry" he says putting her down. "It's just been so long since I've seen you" he wipes his face, awe big guy is tearing up.
I see her look over at us and made eye contact with me. I couldn't do anything, I froze.
"Oh yea, Alex, these are my friends, Steph and Ryan." Gabe says bringing her over, we never broke eye contact once until Ryan spoke up
"It's nice to meet you Alex, Gabe's told us a lot about you" Ryan says holding his hand out and she shakes it.
"It's nice to meet you too" she says breaking the shake then held her hand out infront of me.
I was still frozen but broke out of it to shake her hand. Her hand was soft to the touch, unlike Gabe's or Ryan's.
"So Alex, today is everyone's day off. So I was thinking we could head back to the apartment and get you settled in, if you two would like to join us" Gabe speaks up.
"I'm down" I finally managed to say
"Sure" Ryan says
*Time skip: the apartment late at night (cause I barely have idea for first meeting)*

"That guy is gonna get himself killed" I chuckle to myself knowing that half of us was probably already knocked.
"That's what he gets for following the random sounds have getting a threat call" I hear a feminine voice say, it was Alex. She was still awake surprisingly. Man, I could listen to her voice all day, it's so soothing.
"Wouldn't be "Scream" without these stupid scenes though" Alex says
"Y-Yea, it wouldn't" I say realized I stuttered.
I never realized how close we were on the couch till now, I get that it's small and can only fit 3. But we were so close together.... Ryan was on the other side sleeping while Gabe was knocked on the floor. We watched for another 30 minutes until I felt something on my shoulder, I take a look to see Alex had fallen asleep. But she, she was laying her head on my shoulder. I felt my heart start to beat so fast. "Goddamn it, being a lesbian sucks sometimes." I think to myself. I guess I never realized she toke her Jean jacket off either.
I leaned back in the couch feeling sleepy myself before falling asleep too.
Of course I also never realized how much I just have to Gabe and Ryan to prank and tease with till the next morning

Should I continue this?
