"Toni is here! James! Valeri! Kate!" Charles yells upstairs
James runs downstairs with the girls
"I can't wait til y'all get y'all own ride." James rolls his eyes
"Aww is the little baby mad he can't give his whittle wifey tisses? Boo hoo" Valeri mocks him
Kate laughs
Horn honks more
"See come on slow pokes" James heads out and the girls are right behind him

30 minutes after dropping off Kate and Valeri
"Thanks for picking me up. I promise it's not going to be like this" James explains
"It's fine. Just add this to your fee when we get married" Toni laughs
"Oh haha. See you after class?" James asks
"No cause I have work after my 2 classes remember?" Toni answers
"Ms.May always has you working so many hours" James sighs
"Well we do have a wedding to plan and don't worry after we graduate next year. I will be Mrs. Anderson, the Counselor" Toni laughs and parks
James gets out and waves goodbye

45 minutes into class
"Yo bro. You going to Tamika's Party tonight. I heard everyone going" Terrell asks
"Bro you know Toni would rip him into pieces if he even looks at that girl" Trenton laughs
"Look I do what I want. But even if I want to go I can't. You know I see my mom and you know she doesn't like me seeing nobody else on her time plus she don't like Tamika so I will get my ear cut off if I bring anything up about Tam." James replies

James knocks on the door and Dani answers
"James you early. How was school?" She asks
"Good." He answers
"How's your dad and stepmom" she asks while pour water in the glass
"Mom you know you don't care about Sara but she is good." He laughs
"Well you know next Sunday we having family dinner and I'll try to you know. Be a good guest or whatever but know if they start I'll finish it." She warns
"Well Umm what did the doctor say today"
"He says I'm fine just I'm old kid." She laughs
"Well I could have told you that but anyway I actually wanted to ask you something." He pulls out a card
"I want you to help us with the wedding and go. I know you don't want to be near dad but I want you there and so does Toni" he pleads to her
She looks at the card then him
"Fine but I'm charging you for it and I get dibs on the good food"
They both laugh

James gets home
"Hey James! You hungry? I made lasagna!" Sara announced
"Save me some. Not really hungry but it smells good"
He goes to his room and calls Toni

Hubby☺️: I want to see you
Mrs.A♥️: sorry love but I have to study for tomorrow's tests plus I have a double shift so maybe another day'''

20 minutes later he gets a text

LOML🥺: I'm fine Tamika, What's up?
Ex🤦🏾‍♀️: well l wanted to know if you wanted to come to my after party. You know catch up? You know I miss you 🥺
LOML🥺: No thanks.

LOML🥺: ummm you're my ex? I'm engaged? I don't really want to die? I don't want to date you no more for a big one. Like we can be friends but I can't mess with you in that way

James lays back and falls asleep

Next Morning
James is in class
"Yo Jay you should have been there at Tamika's. It was Lit." Terrell says
"He's right plus she was asking about you all night. Should have come" Travis expressed
"Speaking of Tamika...she texted me and she said she missed me." James hesitated
"Ouuu Toni going to kill you" Trenton exclaimed
"I know but I shut her down bro. Like I said I don't like her like that." James explains
"But you know Toni's rules after the last time you and Tamika talked" Trenton expressed to him

Flashback a year ago

"Babe I'm going to go hang with Terrell" James lies
"Oh ok. I love you. Text me when you are there" Toni replied
*gets in the car with Tamika and kisses her*
"Let's go baby" he says
2 days later him hanging with Toni
phone dings
"I'll get baby" Toni says as picks up the phone

"Baby was that my phone" James asks
"N-No..." Toni holds back tears
"Oh ok." James goes back in the bathroom
Toni goes through text messages
30 minutes later James comes out
Toni Chucks his phone at him
"WTF" he yells
"You bastard! I hate you!" Toni screams with tears
"How could you do this to me" Toni hits his chest
"Why? Tell me!" Toni cries
"Baby...I'm sorry. Please forgive me" he begs
"Leave! LEAVE NOW." She demands while pushing him out the door
he leaves and goes to his mom's
2 weeks later
James shows up with flowers to Toni's house and they talk
"Promise me if I forgive you that you won't talk to her again" She says
"I promise I will be truthful and not talk to her again" he agrees

"And now you doing what you promised you didn't" Terrell points out
"I'll tell Toni. It's better I tell her the truth than hide it right?" He asks
"Yeah you need to tell her before she finds out about it" Trenton suggested
