Kiba's Mistake

    "Hey what's- what's up?..", Naruto rubbed his hand in nervousness, welcoming Kiba into his room. "Naruto..", Kiba says, knowing who was behind the door listening word to word.

"I'm sorry I came here uninvited. The others did too but, you know what I mean.", he smiles but it wasn't real.

"What do you want?", Naruto says after scratching his neck. He bit his lip nervously. Was Kiba still mad? Tears began building up in his eyes but he blinked them away. He remembered when Kiba kissed that girl in front of him.

It was on purpose!

"I just.. really wanted to apologize. I'm so sorry about everything. I was so jealous and upset. I felt betrayed.. I wanted you to feel the same dread I did. I'm so sorry about that..", Kiba apologized.

Naruto's eyes widened. "Eh? Kiba you.. I didn't.. Kiba..", Naruto lowered his eyes and stared at his sweating hands.

"You don't have to accept my apology to me now. I understand, I wouldn't either. I was such a jerk.", Kiba said, he scratched his arm.

"I.. It's okay.. Kiba I want to be your friend again..", Naruto smiled reluctantly. For a while he wished things would go back in time and they would be friends just like always, but now he feels hesitant.

He felt hurt, so hurt that day. He still can't bring himself to think it's okay. Why did he regret saying that?

"Really?! Thank you Naruto!", Kiba grinned happily and ran to Naruto. Clasping his hands together, he kissed his forehead.

Naruto shivered, he felt disgusted. He hated it, those wet lips making contact with his skin made him feel disgusted.

"N-No! Kiba..", Naruto moved his head and closed his eyes tightly. He didn't want this.

"Naruto! Let's get back to-"

A series of knocking cut off Kiba. Without hesitating Naruto jumped off the bed -feeling a bit dizzy after- and went to the door. "Sasu!", he smiled and sighed in relief. He didn't want Kiba to say that.

"Hey. The others are about to leave, I thought you would want to say farewell to them.", Sasuke informs with no emotion on his face like usual. "Ah! Thanks for telling me!", Naruto smiles and runs down the stairs.

  Kiba gulps. "Wh-What?", he says nervously. "How dare you ask him that? Who do you think you are? Can you really be this stupid?", he asks, slowly walks towards Kiba. Kiba becomes frightened.

  "What?! I didn't do any- ugh!", Kiba holds his stomach in pain. He didn't expect Sasuke to be so strong. "Don't get any close to Naruto. I didn't want to give you a chance, but I knew it wasn't my decision to make. I let Naruto, but it seems like you haven't learned.", Sasuke says mercilessly.

  His eyes wide, wanting to hurt Kiba again but he knew Naruto wouldn't like that. He looks down upon Kiba, like the trash he was. "Leave. If I ever see you approach Naruto I will not go easy on you.", he threatens.

  Kiba whimpers, and pathetically struggled to get up. He grips Naruto's bed frame and uses it to get up. Still holding his stomach he leaves the room.

  "Kiba! Are you alright?", a muffled voice is heard. "Are you sure? What happened?!", Naruto asked worriedly. Sasuke sighed, Naruto was always too kind. Even for his own good.

  He walked out and almost bumped into Naruto. "Ah! Sasuke do you know what happened to Kiba? Why didn't you help him down?", Naruto asked, clenching his shirt.

  "I don't know. Maybe he's having stomach problems.", he shrugged and eyed the picture of the frog in the corner.

  "Huh? Oh that's Gamakichi! He was my pet frog until he grew too much! I let him out in the pond by the library!", Naruto grinned happily and wiped the dust off of the glass.

  "Hn.", Sasuke said.

  Naruto pouted. "So more emotion!", he huffed and shook Sasuke lightly. "You can't make friends if you're like this!", he said in a whiny voice.

  "I don't need friends. And I have you, I did make a friend.", Sasuke said. "That is true!", Naruto grinned.

  Suddenly Sasuke's phone began buzzing in his jeans. He took it out and saw that it was his mother. "I'll be back.", he said and went downstairs.

  "Yes mom. I'm still at Naruto's, I'm about to give him his medicine.", he said while grabbing the orange medicine and uncapping it. "Really? I know he would appreciate that. Thanks mom.", he said into the phone with a soft smile.

  He pressed the red hang up button and measured the right amount of medicine in the small cap that came with the medicine.

  He headed up the stairs and saw Naruto on the brink of slumber on the bed. "Hey Naruto, I know you're getting better but you should take this medicine to be safe.", Sasuke said and placed it on the bedside cabinet.

  "Thanks.", he yawned. He took the plastic cup and gulped all of the thick liquid. "Gah..", he cleared his throat and closed his heavy eyes. "Thanks.. for everything..", he yawned tiredly.

  "I'm your friend Naruto. Of course I would do this.", he tucked Naruto in the bed and gave him a light bed sheet. He didn't want him getting worse.
 
  "Rest easy.", he patted his forehead then turned off the lights.
