Chapter 1

Beep Beep Beep

Star heard her alarm go off; She checked the time to see it was 8:15 am. Star yawned as she stretched her body and looked around to see Rose still asleep. Rose is my dorm roommate and one of my greatest friends of all time. Star wanted to pursue her dream of becoming an artist and Rose decided to become one with her.

They met freshman year of high school in the auditorium, Star accidently stepped on one of those preppy girl's shoes and she made a whole scene about it being a drama queen until Rose stepped in like her guardian angel and exposed her on scene. Star was shocked to be honest she didn't know anyone could have so much blackmail.

Back to reality, Star stood up and walked over to Rose shaking her body waking her up. "Rose, time to get up" she said and waited as Rose slowly sat up. "You can't keep staying up all night, you have morning classes with me" Star said, and Rose nodded. Star went towards the bathroom to wash and brush her teeth also to empty her bladder.

She opened the door to see Rose standing by the door holding herself. "About time you got out, I 'bout pissed myself" she says and pushes Star out the way closing the door behind her. Star couldn't help but laugh at her before getting dressed. Star looked in the mirror looking at her appearance before grabbing her bag heading out.

Star walked around campus to get something to eat for breakfast before her classes start. She sat on the campus bench and spotted Rose talking with someone. Star looked closer and it was a girl she didn't recognize before. Rose started coming towards her bringing the girl. "Star, I want you to meet Lisa" she says. Star greeted Lisa and she also greeted her back. "Lisa is one of best friends who I met in Vancouver while I was exploring places last summer" Rose says smiling so excitedly.

"I look forward to getting to know you more" Star said standing up. "Same here" Lisa says smiling. "Star, how about we give Lisa a little tour around campus before class?" Rose asks. Star pulled out her phone to look at the time. They had 30 minutes before class so, why not. Star nodded and Rose squealed in joy as Star and Lisa covered their ears. 

They walked around the whole campus; Rose did most of the explaining while Star just quietly listened. They stopped in front of the basketball court; They ended the tour here. Screams suddenly were heard and that snapped Star's attention to the basketball court. Girls were along the fence cheering at some game. Star tried to ignore but she caught a glimpse of a guy from the team that caught her attention.

"Hey Rose, who is that guy right there in the black T-Shirt?" Star asked. "Oh him, that's Jackson Wang he is the captain of the basketball team, all the girls love him but try not to cross into his path" She warns. Star looked at her, "Why?". She sighs, "I heard that he is a playboy and a troublemaker on top of that". Star nodded and Rose pulled her along as they headed to class.

They went inside the classroom and decided to all sit together. They placed their bags down and sat in front the sketch pads on the art easel while they all wait for the professor to show. They talked about meeting up with Minghao for lunch until they heard the door open and the professor walking in. "Okay shall we get started my dear students" Professor Lee says. Everyone attention was now on the Professor. "As you know we've been talking about finding a model so we can sketch, well I have found a perfect person for the job" he says and stand in front of the door opening it.

Star grabbed her pencil getting ready until she heard whispers of the other students getting loud. She looked around to find them blushing and smiling at someone. "I'm sure you all know Jackson" the Professor Lee says, and Star looked towards the front. There he was standing before them the campus playboy and basketball star. "He will be modeling for us today since he put a dent in my car" Professor Lee says glaring at Jackson. Jackson walks into the middle and sits on the stool. Star sharpened her pencils and started to sketch. "Now remember what I said before, pay attention to the details of his face and body" Professor Lee says walking around.
