After the library incident Star knew she needed to get her mind off things so she headed to the gym early before practice so she could watch the last few minutes of Jackson's basketball practice. Star bought drinks for everyone as she held them in her hand and waited for the guys to be dismissed. Jackson spotted her before sending a wink towards her which caused her to smile before blowing a kiss towards him.
The coach dismissed the team as everyone started to grab their towels and cool off. Star stood up from the bleachers and started handing everyone the drinks she bought them. Everyone thanked her and Jackson was the last to receive his. "Okay, what's the matter babe?" he asked. Star looked at him, "How did you know I was having trouble?" she asked. "Your face expression just says it all" Jackson commented. "Well, I'm having trouble with you ex" Star said and sat down causing Jackson sit down and listen. "Layla is starting to turn everyone against me or something like that".
"Why do you think that?" Jackson asked. "My friend Minghao for example, today I was talking to him like I always do and he acted like a different person which never happened before. I thought it was because I excluded him from things which I was about to apologize for but then Layla interrupted and took him away" Star explained. Jackson didn't know what to say because he knew Layla was crazy and he didn't want to see Star get hurt.
"Star, I believe you but please be careful. Layla she is crazy, when she wants something she will do anything to get it. Please tell me that you will be careful when it comes to her?" Jackson asked. Star hesitated and nodded her head agreeing. Jackson smiled and gave her a kiss. "I'll see you tonight" Jackson said standing up and leaving to go shower and change in the locker room. Star sighed and stood up as the doors opened revealing the squad. There stood Layla front and center as everyone surrounded her.
"Let's just get through this practice today" Star said to herself and stepped down off the bleachers heading towards the team. "Okay ladies, let's do our warm up and stretches. Today we have a new routine that I've been fixing up, it's has a lot of tricks so I need you to focus and work real hard" Layla said. Everyone took their time stretching until Layla walked up to Star causing her to stop. "So I heard your friend Minghao has ditched you, I feel really bad for you but I don't at the same time. I guess you and Rose can't seem to keep anything" she said smirking.
Star scoffed and placed her hands on the side of her hips. "I believe you are also the one who can't seem to keep things or someone to be exact" Star said hinting at a special someone. Layla dropped her smirk and glared at Star. "What did you say?". "You heard me" Star said.
"Just you wait, I will turn everyone against you and claim back what I lost" Layla threatened, coming close to Star's face. All the others stopped what they were doing and was focused on Star and Layla.
"At least I'm not a obsessive psycho bitch".
Layla widen her eyes and slapped Star across the face causing everyone to gasp. Star touched her face and looked back at Layla. Star noticed the power Layla felt when she slapped her. "Wow, that's a good one but are you sure that you want to start a fight with me?" Star asked and crossed her arms against her chest. "What are you scared you might lose?" Layla challenged.
Star scoffed and rolled her eyes. "Please, I'm more worried that you will end up becoming more hurt than I would". Layla smacked her once again laughing. Star let out a sigh and looked at Layla smiling. "Okay, I've had enough of you bitch".
Star raised her hand and slapped Layla across the face. Everytime Layla would bring her face back to look at Star, Star would slap her again and again until Layla's cheek became red. "Please stop" Layla begged out.
"Now, you want me to stop. I warned you before and you wanna know something?" Star asked her.
"What?".
