I was sitting in a cafe , sipping on my tea , watching the raindrops falling on the leaves , then slowly on the ground.
It was horribly hot in Mumbai but today it was unusually chilly as it was raining.
I was just wearing my red kurta and blue jeans , with bangles and a bindi and hair tied in a ponytail, waiting for the rain to stop ..
I was reading a book inorder to pass time .
When I heard people cheering , I decided to focus on my book .
But the cheers grew louder and louder and I finally looked up only to find these famous cricketers .
Sam Curran, Shubman Gill and Deepak Chahar.
That's why they were cheering
I thought
I watched them sit at spot which was one table opposite to me
Deepak's back was facing me and Sam and Shubhman were facing me
I couldn't help but stare I really wanted to talk to them but I did not because I was shy
It had been over an hour now, the rain had stopped and it was 7 pm
As much as I wanted to sit and continue to Stare them I decided to leave
I got up took my stuff and started leaving , I had to walk beside their table as the exit was that side I walked quickly towards the exit and left
I took an autorickshaw and asked him to drop me at my place .
I checked my bag to take my wallet out but I realised I had left it atthe cafe .
"Bhaiya cafe pe lena Zara" I said
We reached the cafe in 5 minutes I immediately got out and entered the cafe running and I saw my wallet still on the table .
I immediately rushed towards my table and took it
That's when I saw the richshaw leaving
Oh God no !! I had my books in it
I immediately ran out of the cafe , pushing someone while running
"I'm sorry " I shouted to the person and left the cafe
"Bhaiyaaa ruko !!!" I screamed at the top of my voice .
I kept running and the auto kept taking turns
It finally Stopped when a van of police officers stopped it
I quickly rushed towards the auto and took my bag
That's when an officer approached me
"Ma'am apko humare sath chalna hoga"he said
"Pur kyu officer maine kuch kiya hai kya"I asked him politely
" Nahi ma'am aap ye auto me last baithi thi isle hume apse thode sawaal jawab krne hai ek bohot hei famous cricketer ne case kiya hai ispe chori ka"he said
I nodded and sat in the van now we were headed towards the police station
When we reached the station I saw Shreyash Iyer sitting on one of the benches
I took a seat infront of the officer to whom I had talked before.
" Ma'am please check your bag just incase " he said
And I started to check everything when I realised that my earphones were missing
"Sir mere earphones nhi hai " I said
I saw the richshaw guy in the prison with his head down
I sighed and waited for the officer to return me my earphones
When a few guys came and started talking to Shreyash Iyer
They were none other than Shubhman amd Deepak .
I looked at them and Deepak caught me looking at them
I looked back the officer who was now standing infront of me to give me my earphones.
"Thank you officer ,can I go home?" I asked him
" Ma'am actually Mr. Iyer ko aise kuch puchna hai uske baad ap ka sakti hai"he said
I nodded and waited.
After a few minutes Shreyash sat beside me
"Hii were you the girl who was last sitting in the auto?" He aske dme
" Yess I heard you wanted to ask me something"I said
" Haa actually , did you see anything like a silver ring in the auto ?"he asked me
" No I don't think so"I said
" But I did see a ring on him which looked incredibly shiny and was silver"I said
" Okay thank you for your cooperation"he said
" Can I leave now? "I asked him
" Yea sure "he said .
" Ok thank you ,can I please get a handshake " I asked him
He looked at me
"I'm a fan actually so please"I said
He brought his hand forward and I shook it slowly
" What is yout name?" He asked me
"Y/n Arora" I said
"Nice to meet you Y/n" he said
" Nice to meet you too Sir"I said and then the officer came witha ring in his hand
I decided to leave ,i made sure that I took everything and left
When I got outside it started to rain .
"Are you kidding me?" I shouted and took shelter under the roof
I took out my cell and decided to call my friend to come pick me up but my battery died
"What???? This cannot be happening right now " I shouted which made everyone look at me
" I'm sorry"I said and waited for the rain to stop
That's when I saw Shreyash,Shubhman and Deepak coming outside only to take shelter beside me
"Yar se Curran kidhr chala gaya " Deepak said
" Ruk me call krta hu "Shubhman said
After two minutes had passed the rain had almost stopped so I decided to walk towards my house as it was only ten minutes from here
I started walking out of the station when a car came , splashing all the water from the puddle on me
"Aree yaar " I shouted and glared at the car and left
I took a right ,then a left from the signal and a right again only to realise that I was officially lost
I decided to walk backa t the station as it was the safest place for me right now .
I had been walking for the past ten minutes and the station seemed to be nowhere.
I decided to ask for help if I saw a vehicle
After ten minutes a car finally pulled over after I waved my hand in front of it
"Can you please drop me home I'm actually new here and lost and my battery is dead?"I asked them
The guy from the front seat looked at me and nodded
What I didn't realise was that there were too other men sitting at the back
And I took a seat in the front seat and he took off after I told him my address
The guys at the back were looking at me with hungry eyes and I was ignoring them
All of them were foreigners .
After a ride of ten minutes we reached my apartment I got off
"Thank you " I said
"Anything for a beautiful girl "the guy from the front seat said
I was now walking towards my apartment , which was on the fifth floor with no lift
I entered the apartment and took my stuff on the bed and jumped on it
I had a one room apartment which wass all mine
It had a kitchen on the right of the front door , a bed on the left and washroom on the corner
I was small but I decoratesot nicely, my bed sheet was a navey blue which matched my blanket
The door mat was a simple welcome doormat in black
My kitchen was a combined of black and white and blue
I was just a teenager ,I came her to study properly as I took medical as major
so now I decided to study with my friend as we always studied together.
I called her and asked her to comeover
But she said that she couldn't make it today so I decided to study bymyself
It was 9 pm and I made myself a nice tomato cheese sandwich with black tea
I didn't have a tv as i didn't watch anything on it so I decided to watch a few vlogs
Shubhman's POV
"Aap log kya khaoge jldi bolo bhtt bhook lgri hai" I asked the guys
After they told me what they wanted I ordered the food
I heard the bell rang so I opened the door and saw a parcel.
I took the parcel and paid for for it .
I didn't order anything I thought the boys must have ordered it
"Aap log ne kuch order kiya tha kya parcel aya hai" I shouted
Shreyash entered the room along with Sam
I opened the parcel and took out what was in it was a few medical books in one box and when I opened the other one it had a stethoscope and white coat in another
"Ye sab kya hai bhai " Deepak asked
"Ruk address dekhta hun" I said
It said
"Tulip apartments
Flat 25

"Har bar Tulip apartment ko Tulip enterprises se confuse krlete hai" Shreyash said
"Abhi kaun deke ayega ye "Deepak asked
"I can give it if you don't mind?" Sam asked
"Do you know your way back,?"Shreyash asked
" Yea I do "he said
" Me jata hun iske sath waise bhi mujhe kuch lena tha"Shubhman said
And they both got out fo the building with the stuff
After 5 minutes they reached the apartment and started climbing the stairs
"Gosh fifth floor with no lift " Sam whined
"Come on " Shubhman said
They both were panting till the reached the apartment and rang the bell
The door opened after a few minutes
It was a girl who opened the door ,she looked at us and her expressed was priceless
"Is this a dream or you guys are really here?" She asked
" We really are her doll ,your parcel came to us "Sam said giving her the boxes
" Oh I'm so sorry for the trouble"she said placing the boxes inside
" Do you want to come inside?" She asked us
"No" I said
"Yes" Sam said
" Huh?"
I looked at Sam and he looked back at me
"Actually, hume jaana hai humare team members wait krhe hoge sorry "I said
" Yeah no worries it's alright"she said
" I have seen you somewhere?" Sam said
When I looked at her I thought the same
The bangles,the red kurta and jeans
"Yeah she was in the cafe earlier"I said
"Yeah I bumped into you more like pushed you, I'm sorry"she said
" You did that earlier it's okay"I said smiling
"Yeah you are the girl I splashed water on " Sam said
"I'm so sorry for that" he said
" Oh it was you, it's okay"she said smiling
" So I think we should leave now"Shubhman said
" I don't want to but I have to"Sam said
I rolled my eyes as he kept flirting with her
" Byee guys and thank you" she said smiling
We left the apartment and I just out of curiosity looked at her window
And I saw her standing there
She waved me byee
I waved back
"You just couldn't stop flirting could you''i asked Sam
"Don't blame me she was gorgeous I saw you staring too" Sam replied
"Yeah sure" I said
I know it was unusual for me to think that but it felt as if I was going to see her again
