Chapter 36

Kyle's POV

"Woah!" I said in surprise as I looked around the place. It was lit but there wasn't any light source, no glowstone, torch, or even a redstone torch.

"Here I'll show you around the place," Tyler smiled as we walked into a room with a enchantment table and books.

~time skip after Tyler showed Kyle the place~

I went to the library after the tour to I can get my mind off Hero. I picked up a book that was on the ground, it was called Creatures. Huh weird.

I flipped through the book but stopped when I got to the page about Draconics and started reading it:

Draconics are humans with claws and sometimes wings. They have sharp teeth for feasting on their prey. There are four special Draconics in the world, no one has ever seen them. Their power is unknown but some legends say that they have the ability to transfer life energy from one to another.

Wait did the book say "transfer life energy from one to another?" Is that true?
I closed the book and put it back on he shelf. Ow! I looked at my middle finger and saw a cut.

Squeak squeak!

I looked down, there was a tiny little rat at my feet. I crouched down and picked him up. I put my hand over the rat and concentrated. I closed my eyes.

Squeak squeak!

Squeak!

Squeak...

squeak....

Then silence. I opened my eyes and saw the rat in my palms except it's dead. I looked back at my middle finger and to my surprise, it is fully healed. Looks like the Legend is true.

Wait if I can heal myself from a rat......then Hero...
I ran out of the library without even finishing that thought. I arrived outside but it was just another island far from the main land. I whistled and a dragon landed in front of me.

"Can you fly me to the main land?" I asked the Enderdragon

I think I'm healed up enough to fly, get on my back

I nodded and crawled up his back and held on to him as the dragon flew in the air and towards the main island.

~time skip~

We arrived at the mainland. It was destroyed, pillars fallen, huge holes in the ground, and even fires that were still burning.

"Oh my gosh..." I whispered

It was full chaos

I nodded and ran towards the place where Hero had...died. There, under a obsidian pillar, was Hero's body. My heart ached just looking at him. I blinked away the tears and held my hand over him.

Cade's POV

I stood there in shock, I thought his father is in the real world?

"Your not my father, he is in the other world," Ian replied

"Oh but I am, I thought you didn't like your family?"
Ian hesitated

"H-how are you my father?"

"DONT LISTEN TO HIM IAN!" I yelled at Ian

"Ian? Is that when they named you? What a pathetic name," The man said (PLZ don't kill me if you name is Ian)

"But then Alex isn't my brother?"

"Alex? He was sent there too? Wow that basturd...anyway your real name is James."

"I-I don't..."

I looked at Ian, he looks so conflicted. To all of our surprise, he ran over to his so called "father" and stand at his side instead of ours.

"But Ian-" I started

"My name isn't Ian," he said firmly

"Ia-James w-what about us?" I asked, scared about the answer

"There isn't an us, anywhere, anytime." 'James' said

I saw his father smirked. I stood there shocked then ran towards the entrance of the castle, past 'James'.
I don't know where I'm going but I just ran, like I always do.

Calvin's POV

Cade ran out without another word. He is trying to split us apart.

"So what about you three?"
Without a word, all three of us charged.
I extended my claws and charged towards "James' father". Right before I hit him, a spear came in contact of my claws and blocked the attack.

"I don't really want to do this but I have to or else they'll kill meh horses," a person appeared out of no where and holding the spear.

"Name's Luke, Luke Ganzo," Luke said
I jumped back then charged back at him. He charged at me too with his spear.

SShadee's POV

I charged with Seto towards James. Seto shot fireballs and held his Sorcerer's Sword. I had my blood covered blade ready to strike.

Behind you

I spun around and saw a huge scythe going for Seto. I instantly ran and barely blocked the attack as Seto keep running towards James.

"Huh you blocked it, good job," I turned towards the wielder of the scythe and saw James' dad holding it

"I am The Memory taker, and Derp, the one you loved, is one of my victims," He grinned

H-he is the one...

I readied my sword as he strikes his scythe down again. I tried to block it but the scythe cut right through the sword and right into my chest.
