Chapter 37

Kyle's POV

Tears rolled down my cheeks but I concentrated. I concentrated on all the times me and Hero had together, good ones, bad ones. I concentrated on Hero's face, his adorable face. I then concentrated on my life while holding on to Hero's hand. I put my other hand on Hero's chest, where his heart was suppose to be beating.

I felt my heart beat slower and slower. I then felt Hero's heartbeat. I smiled. I love you Hero. My heartbeat slowed down a lot while Hero's beat faster and faster.

I then felt my heart stop and felt Hero moved a bit. I used the last of my life energy to restore the mainland. With the last bit of life energy, I gave Hero the Catalyst. The Catalyst of Chaos.

Then I felt myself incinerate, smiling as I do.

"I love you."

Seto's POV

To my surprise, James controlled the red diamond and was surrounded by red particles. I shot fireballs while holding my Sorcerer's Sword.

James shot his red energy at the fireballs and instantly destroyed them. I charged in with my sword and tried to stab him in the chest.

He spawned a sword made out of the red energy and blocked my attack easily. He then spawned another sword and stabbed me in the side.

I stumbled backwards and looked the wound. The energy burned through my skin. I started to feel dizzy and fell to my knees.

"P-poison..." I said before going limp and lost conscious.

SShadee's POV (italics words are Ian's thought)

I felt light headed as James' father pulled the scythe out.

Let me out

No he would kill you, and I will die with you. I felt myself being pushed to the back of my head. I tried to resist but I was too weak to do anything.

I rested in the back of our head as I saw Ian stand up, glaring at him. He grabbed a spare sword from his back and swung and him. I took control a little bit and lend him my strength. The sword hit his scythe.

Ian backed away.
Well that worked out, can you help me again?

Fine.
He let me took control a little and we charged. We sliced and stabbed, our movement in sync. I used my strength and speed while Ian used his quick reflexes. Although we were like an army, the wound from earlier was bleeding like crazy. Ian almost fell but I took control and caught him.

Hey you alright?

Y-yea just a bit dizz-

Ian? Ian? Hello?
Crap, Ian passed out. James' father's smile seemed to grow bigger as I let him strike down on me. I heard a scream, then I passed out.
